ha ha, I agree with your comment. That's why I always call him the "English guy" also.

by the way, for people who actually found a liking to this show, which episodes did you like?

I loved the duran episode, any episodes about Dai Hou Lei or the Mom, the episode where ah Dee finds out he hasn't been enunciating correctly for his entire life, Lai Gu Je being a clean freak, and that crazy first love of ah Dee's storyline. and some of the Indian guy's episodes were a riot too.

I've watched 108 episodes so far, and so sometimes it's hard to recall all the ones I enjoyed rather thoroughly.

I think it's still playing in Hong Kong.

I much prefer this show over "Gai Dai Foon Hei" or "Jen Qing".

for now, the show is listed as having 240 episodes. But who knows, if the ratings continues to be strong in Hong Kong, they might extend the series.

This is amazing. I'd never thought I'd see "Welcome to the House" thread as much as it has been in the last few days!

I just hope more people will come to appreciate and see how great this show is. Sometimes I'm just so tired of TVB's attempts to write love storys or ancient stuff. They've certainly lost a bit of their touch in the last 5 years. A lot has to do with them not training as much high quality actors and actresses as they have in the past like in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Also, TVB aren't promoting the right people. Oh well.

OH how I wish Chris Lai Lok Yi would return for a few more episodes. I really felt he made a great matchup with Dai Hou Lei. They were both so adorable and goofy.
