Just watched it n it's real funny. N after watching the behind scenes fm tv did i know that most of the scenes are real as in not computer graphics. I'm looking forward for part 3 if they were to film it.

They filmed 2 and 3 at the same time. Kinda like they did with LOTR

yeah they did film both at the same time. =] that's why i read in some interviews how the actors got confused which scenes were in which movie. BUT...they're like resting from filming a bit and then going to continue filming part 3 sometime in august. that's what i read from a johnny depp forum.

So I went back today and watched pirates for the second time. I have to say, after I watched it the first time, i was a bit disappointed. I think my expectations were way too high because i had been waiting forever for this movie to come out. haha. BUT...after i had some time to think through everything, i thought it actually was pretty good. After watching it a second time, i liked it more. =] I think it's because i was able to pay more attention to the details this time so that everything made a bit more sense This movie had more funny moments, but i felt that it was a different kind of funny from the first one. The first one had a lot of funny witty comments that i really loved. The second movie didn't have much of those, but still funny. =D

hey, is johnny depp suppose to walking around liek that? my friend said, he was g@y the way he walked. but w/e i thought it was good & the makeup/wardrobe was good!! so was the computer imaging, for davey jones' face. [: cooolio.

Huh? I doubt Davey Jone's tentacles(thats what we should call it, right?) are computerized. They were rather real.. and so was the Krakken(sp?). Anyways, I haven't watched the making of it, so I'm not sure.

I read in an article that his movements were formed because he locked himself in a sauna for a long time once since he believed thats how pirates should feel when they're out on the sea for so long. So i guess thats what it ended up like. lol. I quite like the way he walks...it adds to the uniqueness of jack sparrow. Although i do agree that it can seem gay-ish. lOl. I remember at the Oscars one year, i think it was Billy Crystal hosting, and when he mentioned johnny...he mentioned how johnny played a slightly gay pirate. hahaha.

The actor did most of his parts in this funky suit with balls all over it. Did you ever watch the making of for the first pirates? Because in that there was a part showing johnny depp in a blue suit with balls over it too. haha. That was for the part where they had to make him turn to skeleton and back to human when he was fighting barbossa at the end. So that suit is to help with the computer stuff i guess.

The major problem with this movie was that it dragged on and on and on and on until you just wanted to shoot it in the gut and run away. Not nearly as good as the first movie.

Guys, my mistake. Davey Jones and his crew(except Bootstrap Bill) are all CG'ed. Its just, they look too real for me to think that its fake. Anyways, its probably me being too outdated. Yikes.

yea i thought it was computerized, because it looked like it. but someone said it wasnt, but i think they did the makeup & stuff for it. but as for the movements, its' computerized. because i've seen the turn normal people into gorrillas, and ghouls and monsters in couple or days [the suit] & then applying the makeup in a couple of hours.

i just the movments are computerized. [:

i thought it was good, i wanna see the third one, because i recently saw the firts part.

as for johnny's movements, part 2 he "swaggled" more when he walked. lol [;
