Dir en Grey - Obscure MV

last night, i watched this mv. i had to watch many happy things after it. ewww. not scary or anything. mostly just ew. has anybody seen it before? the uncut and uncensored version. ewwww. if you want to watch, you can search for it on youtube. just warning you...violence, blood, nudity, weird animated mechanical body parts, etc.

Rather tame by my standards, then again I"m sick person. When you spend all day dissecting dead bodies.

To the point, this is a good dir en grey song, their music video isn't as random as this anymore. Other notable dir en grey video, though not as violent are Raison D'etre, Saku, Cage, actually most of their music videos.

you dissect bodies? uh...that's out of the ordinary. yet, totally fits in with your online persona.

anyways, it wasn't the dismemberment that grossed me out. it was the weird body parts, puking and squirmy thingies.

and those white faced kimono women reminded me of a movie i saw when i was 8 that traumatized me. just creepy.

As for dissecting dead bodies, I"m a medical student, so you get use to it fast. Only the smell bothers you, that's something that doesn't leave you.

Dir En Grey, their music might not sound like it, but in the songs it tell a story. Going back to their earlier work, Embryo. It's about a family. The father molests his son, the mother commits suicide. Next song, Saku the kid kills the family. After that Kodou, the song the kids commit suicide.

Most of Dir En Grey songs are about suicide, abortion, family abuse, rape and later stuff, war. You can count on one hand all the love songs they ever done that isn't grotesque. I can only think of Yokan, I'll, and Jealous.
