Oh.... don't even start this stread. Don't we have another thread over the exact same topic except it's called what makes XF's HL18Z superior.

Anyway...., here are my current opinion
3rd: H7G- pretty much a all out palm technique and palm. In LOCH, H7G's palm power started to weaken after 160 something palms (at this time, H7G didn't plan to go all out against GJ since he didn't want HYS to be embarrased). Out of his 18 palms, 2 have achieved a balance of yin/yang which are the 1st Kong Long You Hwai and 16th which I don't remember what it is called.
2nd: GJ- I think it took Hanky Panky ages to finally convince me that XF's palm is better. GJ's style is sophiticated, smooth. Has 13 energies of Reserve energy. Making the control extremely well. GJ would only use the amount of energy to get the job done, no more, no less. Power is a notch below XF's. The Technique of Abdidexterity gives the GJ's XL18Z the most variations to work with out of all the XL palms.
1st: The most powered of the 3 when XF needs to use power. XF's new palm appararently works with chiao jing. chiao jing is what works with Tai chi(it should be noted that XF doesn't always use chiao jing). chiao jing is trickery energy and it uses energy perfectly, not too much, not too little. In other words, XF has a just as good control on XL18Z as GJ does and has great conservativness(but the conservativness should be a bit lower than GJ's since there are times when XF does use full power).
Power: XF by a notch over GJ.
Conservativeness: GJ by a notch over XF(instead of WAY over XF in the past)
Variations: GJ's L/R gives it to him
Control: maybe XF because of chiao jing (but difference with XF/GJ is small)
Philosophy: really hard. GJ gets his from 9 Yin. XF gets his with the original. Maybe GJ a bit better.
Human driven ablities: XF obviously. XF himself makes the palm a lot better than what it should be.
Overall: Catergories won: 3 to 3. But XF's palm is a bit better because of XF's genius fighting abilities.

I agree with Whsie on his points except that IMHO, the Genius Fighting Instinct (TM), puts XF's ability in ALL catagories (with possible exception of energy conservation) above GJ.

BTW, ever thought that with Chiao Jing, XF's palms do not have 13 levels of energy but is instead infinitely variable between zero and max?

yeah i think xiao feng has strongest dragon palm, since he did master all of it then condense it to 18. thats why in most of the tv adaptions he's able to shoot multiple dragons out. plus hes like 40 something, with shaolin kung fu n that one strong internal energy he learn from shaolin.

Kiu Fung was in his early thirties when he died in DGSD. Sadly, he didn't live to be forty.
