i'm currently watching this series. i know i'm kind of behind, but better than nothing. i really like this series, or at least the first 6 episodes. although i still think japanese guys are too skinny, i do like the two main guys in here. especially yamapi, he's the best one in the series.

the story is very touching and funny, can't stop watching. and the best part is, it's short.

I really liked the story with it's serious and funny moments with nothing too stupid. You think Japanese guys are too skinny, that just means more for me.

    I FINISHED IT!! YAY!!
it was awesome. i enjoyed watching three of them helping out each others so much. i also enjoyed laughing at the teachers and all those funny scenes.

to be honest, when i first saw shuji, i thought he was too skinny and not cute at all, but later in the series, i started to like him more and more. yamapi was terrific too.

it was my third j-drama, and i loved it. is there any other series that is as funny and cute as this one? huhm....i should look more into japanese series.

but anywayz, it was one of the best.

Despite all the weirdness of this dorama..
    it is absolutely fantastic.
LOL.. i dunno about others.. but it's the first time i ever heard of producing a person the way Shuuji to Akira did. hahaha..

i first saw YamaP here.. but i didn't become his fan til Kurosagi..
and his role here-- Kusano Akira.. is classic!

of course i love Seishun Amigo, too!!

and also.. Horikittie is cute.. and really brought on Nobuta's awkwardness well.

    I agree. Maki-Yamapi is a cute pair!

I liked the friendship of the three (Nobuta, Shuji & Akira)...but I'm quite disappointed with the ending.....

I rewatch parts of Nobuta Wo Produce yesterday. It was good fun, plus, I can't help but notice how different Pi is now...

Watched the first episode and I can't even get past that. Too dry for me.

But Yamapi is very good, his performance and all.

^ Same for me, except I'm watching this mostly for Maki. Perhaps I should pick it up again someday.

thanks strawberry! actually, i watched kurosagi first and tried to see a bit of nobuta (first and last part) im actually a bit disappointed with the ending but since I've read some really good reviews of teh series, I'll give it a chance. I want Maki to end up with yamapi (mostly because the Kurosagi love story is a bit open ended)!!!

^Well, Nobuta was not meant to be a romance drama in the first place but one that talks about friendship. If you are looking for Maki and Yamapi action in the romance department, I am afraid you are going to be disappointed. Watch the show with a open mind, the development of friendship between the Maki, Yampi and Kame is an interesting and meaningful story.

thanks for the advice. i haven't seen the entire show just yet
(only the beginning and part of the ending) so i can't be a good judge of it as of the moment. it seems like fun though...
