I couldn't find anything on this production so I decided to make a thread to see if there are any other fans of this series just like me. I know it was out months ago and I'm not sure if this thread is supposed to be in the TVB section or not. I watched this series in Vietnamese and hopefully some of you guys are interested in it!

Summary:
(I'm not good with the names but I think these are the character names in chinese: Fong Tak, Miu Chui Fa, Lee Xiu Wan, Lui Lo Fu.)

Mui Chui Fa and Lee Xiu Wan are sisters (not blood related though) and they grew up together and were very good with martial arts, MCF skilled in fist and LXW skilled in feet. They meet Fong Tak and Lui Lo Fu as they wander around giving rich & bad people lessons. LXW falls in love with Fong Tak and after a bunch of misunderstandings, adventures, and tears, MCF marries Fong Tak and LXW becomes very depressed. In the end LXW marries Lui Lo Fu. They both have a son and 18 years later they meet again with a tragic and unfair ending for LXW.

yeh , I watch all the series in Viet ..... i'm at eps.23 now, Phuong The Ngoc & his 2 buddies trying to get revienge from tat dude ..... manz i'm pissed of watching new series , cuz it keep making us wait till the new eps come out & I don't have the patient to wait since this film is just so good .. argggg

I thought of buying the vcd set but was told that the main stars of the show are all w/o martial arts background so their fighting is pretty fakey.

Well, I can't really tell if they have a martial arts background or not but Li Tieu Hoang seems to be pretty good. And yeah there are of course few scenes where they are obviously not using real kungfu. I enjoyed the drama and comedy a lot more though.

I am glad that there are some responses in this thread. I started one about this series in the Chinese section ( http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=15111 ) almost three months back and had only one post (sadness). Anywayz, this is an extremely good series, but the end is somewhat disappointing. I bought it in Mandarin and also obtained a version in Viet, and enjoyed them greatly. I think the actors are great and the fighting scenes are not bad (except for some part with awkward pauses). The plot is sound (except for the very end) and it contains a mixture of comedy, romance, and action.

Yeh I actually like her character, but don't like her husband, even though he never yell @ her or treating wrong but .... they obviously not a happy couple. I still can't believe Tieu Hoang put her thinking in front of her heart for so long ..... she marry tat guy just to get her mind over with Phuong duc & have kid with tat guy ..... marry couple for 18 years ...& still love Phuong Duc ( Mieu Thuy Hao hubby ) I think it's stupid to do tat but ... I felt her pain hahahaa

Well I'm pretty prejudiced when it comes to martial arts series w/o real experts in at least the the second string lineups and 1 or 2 in the main lineup.

TamNuong, continue watching! You'll see a change in Tieu Hoang. And I really like her husband, maybe because Benny Chan is hot. And what I love about his character is that to everybody else he must be stronger and tough but he can be himself in front of his wife.

Cool, if you want lets chat about the series here! And yes, the ending was disappointing. I didn't like the idea of bringing in the new kids, such as the two girls.

(I probably said this a lot already) I think the ending was unfair for Li Tieu Hoang because everything screwed up for her. Her son was disabled, but I guess thats okay because he deserved it, but Phuong The Ngoc literally killed her husband "Lui Lo Fu" and he didn't even go to jail.

Loi Lao Ho is too despicable ..... arg he's think he's too good for almost evrything he does ..... I like Nam Tinh's character ( Phuong duc exwife ) .... when she came back with those 2 lil girl, her character make me really like her rite now, is she going to fight with Loi Lao Ho or trouble from him since Loi Lao Ho's son ask to marry those 2 girls & Nam Tinh didnt acpect it ???

Well, yeah he's going to fight with Nam Tinh at her wine restaurant but of course, she's no match against him. Phuong Duc comes in time to stop Lao Ho. He does think he's better than everyone but I just love him and Tieu Hoang too much to complain. haha

Yeh I just got to tta part & Mieu Thuy Hoa & Phuong The Ngoc leave the house cuz the misunderstooding between Phuong Duc & Nam Tinh , when Mieu Thuy Hoa come to Nam Tinh 's restaurant & saw her husband heldiing Nam Tinh hands .... so she got pissed hahaahaha ... manz I have to wait till the next eps come outtttttttt .....

Yes, Loi Lao Ho is a pitiful character, but I love his devotion to Tieu Hoang. I also respect Chan Chin Pang very much as an actor, so I can't hate Loi Lao Ho. I despise his son though and most of the little kids generation as well.

I dislike the manchu style sometimes too, because most actors have to shave bald to act, and that saddens me. lol
