News: ATV Official Best Drama Vote - Best Drama in 50 years

ATV is holding a poll on your most favorite ATV drama within its 50 year history. ATV is planning to re-film the winning drama of this poll for the 50th anniversary. So if you really liked an ATV drama, and want it to be re-made, please vote on one of the choices at the official website:

I rather ATV not do a remake of the past good oldies with new artists casted in the same character roles because it will not be the same thing--because those same character roles are most suitable to be played by past artists remembered by audiences. It will NOT be the same having new artists play those same character roles.

ATV should do a sequel of past good drama tv series (new storyline with new characters) since the re-casting new artists in those same character roles will be overshadowed by past artists who played them.

it too bad very few past good oldies ATV drama tv series that I like are released on VCD boxsets for purchase.

I recognize the small artist picture from old past good ATV oldies dramas that I watched very long ago & from released VCDs boxsets such as

It contains 3 music CDs consisted of 50 themesongs from ATV drama tv series & a bonus DVD.

Well at least my fav MDWAV is in the list... surprised to have seen pride of chao zhou, didnt think a lot of people remember this... but yea loved that series as well...

never seen crocodile tears, fatherland, chamelon... thats not the one with eric wan is it? flaming brtothers was good, so as vampire expert, prefer reincarnation 2 over the first... thought the first dragged too long... a better tomorrow... isnt that a movie? gone with the wind???

Most of the series listed are classic series of ATV. Maybe u are not familiar with the english titles or maybe your are too young to remember them. Most of the series in the top 10 are 20-30 years old series or maybe even older.

Nope the Chamelon that won the vote is the older version. Eric Wan's version is the remake. A Better Tomorrow which is better know as The Good Old Days. It the hit series starring Amy Chan, Steve Ma and Gilbert Lam. Gone With the Wind is one of ATV's classic series.
