I don't know the proper English title, but I'm guessing this is a ATV series since some of the actors and actresses are from ATV.

But I also see Peter Ho, Zhang Ting (I think) and other Taiwanese actors and actresses.

Anyone seen this series?

I've seen a few episodes, but don't find it very interesting. I stop watching after the first mystery was solved (mystery was the only think that keep me watching because I want to know why the 'villain' did what he did). I find the series kinda silly. Zhang Ding is especially annoying with her cutesy act.

I don't understand why ATV keep putting Kent Cheng in big roles like it was in medical doctor series with Remus Kam and what's her name, somehow escapes my mind right now. What is Remus Kam doing these days?

Dunno. Up until the episode I quit, Benny Chan and Peter Ho still haven't appeared yet. But I didn't watch that long. I think I watched only 4 or 6 episodes. Cannot stand Zhang Ting's 'I'm so bumblingly cute' act.

I think this series is called the Blind Detective or something similar. I rented the series for Peter Ho too, but he didn't show up until the seventh disc??? I haven't finished it yet and I'm wondering if I should finish it since the storylines aren't that intriguing and I wonder if Peter is going to reappear at all after his case. Has anyone seen this series to confirm this?

No. He won't appear again. Peter is only a guest for one case. Same goes for Benny.

It's official title is Blind Detective. I think the series is kind of cheezy but cute in a way. Zhang Ting and BJF are adorable together. I know some people find ZT annoying with her cutesy act but I love her for it. Not many actresses can do that on screen and make it not look stupid. The cases aren't anything great but it serves for a good laugh and at times a shock of many sudden deaths. I also like how the producer put in some satirical scenes. It's a relaxing series to watch, something I would reccommend when you have nothing else to do.

i have just finish this serie today. it's okay i guess. isn't really a favorite. I like Zhang Ting, she's pretty and is a good actress. in this serie, she does go a little overboard with the cutesy and stuff, but that's how her character is suppose to be. the serie is (in my opinion) can be a little stupid in some way, but it's funny and is a good serie to watch to get entertain!

Chin Pang plays a chinese guy who went to Japan and became a general who fell in love with the japanese princess (looks exactly like Zhang Ting, which causes a lot of problems). To his dismay, he was sent to escort his love, who was to marry the Chinese Emperor. A lot of misundering ensues after Chin Pang encountered Kent Cheng, including the false rumor of a treasure and the switching of identities. In the end, Chin Pang died by poison because the main character people were selfish and his death brought about the death of his beloved princess as well by suicide.

I didn't watch the whole series because the only reason I rented the Blind Detective was because of Chan Chin Pang. While his story was sad, it was worth watching.

I like Zhang Ting very much. Indeed her character in this drama is a little annoying, but she has to follow the director's instruction. Whoever takes this role can not be accepted by all the audience.
She's really an excellent actress with high acting skills.
I will support her all the while.

I've seen him in the Su Dongpo drama, where he is married to two wives and has a sister. Mimi Kung (is that her name? She's the actress who played the Goddess of Mercy in Dicky's Journey to the West, the first one) was the second wife. Crystal Tin Yui Lee was the princess, and one of the main lead.
He's also in Gum Sek Leung Yun right with Steven Ma Jun Wai? Whats the title.. Journey of life?
I've heard of the doccie drama with Carol Cheng (haha all Cheng) and Dong Xiao Yan as Dong Xiao-wan. Saw the site. Seems he really acts in ATV-TW dramas. But I don't really like it when they dub his voice. They dubbed his voice for the Ben Yue with Fann Wong and Chris Lee. He was the father of Chris' admirer.
