    Default Snow and the Seven

Snow and the Seven… Yes, like snow white and the seven dwarfs. It’s a remake of the Disney classic, produced, of corse by Disney.

It has been scripted by Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Michael Chabon (who also helped script spider man 2).

AND IT'S BEING DIRECTED BY YUEN WO PING!

    ???

Yes. The movie will take place in 1880s British colonial China with Shaolin monks will take the place of the dwarfs and take in a refuge girl.

This will be Yuen Wo Ping’s English language directorial debut.

It’s scheduled to come out in 2008, but my guess is it may be delayed longer.

I am personally excited. In the hands of Yuen Wo Ping, i don't think you could go wrong.

Not only the action, but YWP has an amazing sense of humor. I don’t know if anyone has ever seen Shaolin Drunkard (a.k.a Shaolin Drunkards; Wu Tang Drunkard), but this is one of the most fun, funniest, and over the top kung fu movies I’ve seen, and it is both written and directed by YWP. He has a true sense of slap stick comedy as well, which will really make this movie something if it’s going to be anything.
