Default How would the other heroes dealt with losing an arm?

If the 3 brothers of DGSD, GJ and ZWJ all lost their primary arm during the middle of their story, how would they have cope with it? How would this affect their martial arts development as well as how much would it have alter the course of their stories.

Duan Yu would be devastated, since now he can only embrace one girl at a time.

Xu Zhu would just read buddhist scripture about Karma and accept his fate.

Xiao Feng would not be affected since he would still be ultra powerful.

Guo Jing would be dead since he cannot use HL18Z, the left-right skill or shoot arrows anymore.

ZWJ would keep wondering which arms did he loved the most, the one he lost or the one he still has.

No, XF would be semi screwed because he can't use XL18Z anymore.

But XF would still no doubt get weaker since some stances of XL18Z needs 2 hands. In the 1st edition of HSDS, it mentioned the reason why YG didn't learn XL18Z was because XL18Z needed 2 hands.

yes, I have no doubt on that, but face it, without XL18Z, he is no doubt gonna weaken at least somewhat.

    Agreed

2 hands are obviously better but I think he can manage with 1 just fine.

Afterall you only need 1 hand to master debate......which we all know is the most important thing for a man....

Don't be dirty. I am refering to debating on spc forum regarding wuxia......you do need 1 hand to type...unless you are willing to resort to your feet.....

Each of them is a hero and a gifted martial artist. Each would make the necessary adjustments and move on.

He didn't lose his hand. He lost 4 fingers on his left hand (I think it was the left one).
