How Good Were The Peach Valley 6 Fairies?

Ive been reading SPW in the wuxia translation, and the Peach Valley 6 Fairies seem to be considered as excellent fighters, but there isnt any real fights that they are in, they just tear people limb by limb

any thoughts on how good they really were? as a group? invididually?

Considering Yue BuQun was terrified and afraid of them, the 6 fairies as a group must be above Yue, the Leader of Huashan pre-PXJF, but below ZLC, leader of Songshan. Since each of the five mountain sword leader's martial arts is several notches below to the big shots in XAJH (DFBB, RWX, LHC, XWT, FQY, FZ, CX) then each of the fairies is definitely not that impressive, especially with below average IQ they have.

i don't think the five mountain leaders were that below the sunmoon sect elders.

DFBB, RWX, LHC, FQY, FZ, CX the top level.
the sunmoon sect elders were the next best. including no commendent monk, one finger pingzhi, XWT and ZLC.
the other five mountain sect leaders should be here alongside the 6 faries.
(i belive YBQ was afraid of the six faries together, not one on one.)
Yu Canghai and those of his calibre were below the six faries.

the 6 faries had some ability in martial arts, but extremely unorthodox in nature.
when pingzhi wanted to cure LHC, he thought of using four experts in inner power along with himself and YBQ to dissolve the energy streams, that shows he thought highly enough of YBQ to at least equal one of the six faries.

I'm pretty sure YBQ said something like him and his wife might be able to fight off 2, 3 they would be disadvantaged, and 4 they would lose for sure. Or maybe 3 they might fight off, 4 they would be disadvantaged etc. However all 6 together definitely can kill the Yue couple easily, so I'd think the 6 of them together are at least equal to someone like ZLC.

You're right, it's in chapter 11. Yue Buqun commented to his wife, that the two of them would likely reach a draw with three of Peach Valley Fairies. If they would face four of the Peach Valley Fairies, they would most likely loose. And when he said if the five of them would attack, he just shook his head. Suffice to say, facing five of the Peach Valley Fairies Yue Buqun and Madame Yue are totally goners.

Seriously, no. I got a feeling DFBB stabs at least 3 to 4 of them before the others realised it happening. While they began to talk crap, argue again about how they died, how are they going to avenge their brothers, DFBB would have done the rest in.

The fairies wouldn't even be able to touch DFBB much less grab his limbs.

If DFBB was using a sword instead of a needle that just happened to be lying around, all six would be dead.
