Well...i was briefly searching through SPCNET Forum and found out that they had created a music section (or maybe I didn't know they have one). So thought it will be a great to creat a topic for the popular asian boyband "DBSK" containing five members from SM entertainment. Of course maybe most of you already knows them from the beginning so I might not really go into detail about their info, if anyone want to they could.
omg I just luv them. They are just a bunch cuties formed together.

I have said before.. and again.. they are H.O.T ripoffs. They should now folllow the trend .. and just go back to acapello..I find them more talented in the latter genre

I think that all of them are pretty cute. They have such great vioces and they work hard for their fans. Even though people say they are HOT rip offs I don't think so. They work hard to get famous and they perform great, just because they have 5 members that song and dance dosen't mean that they are H.O.T/Shinwha ripp-offs. Even though I'm a bigger DBSK fan, it doesn't mean I have to go around saying that Super junior or whatever is bad or ripp-offs. All artists are great and work very hard so don't go around disappionting other fans! <---Well, this is off topic.

i can't think of SJ ripping off another band with 13 members. DBSK are a younger version of H.O.T, acapella group, Shinhwa were mainly formed as a dance group in the beginning rather than an acapella group such as DBSK. Not a bad looking bunch only like Changmin, but they're songs are so so, only liked Tri angel but that's before they rocked out in the middle, kinda spoilt the whole thing.

What i'm freaked out about is how they're fans react to people who touch/bad mouth them or w/e. I hear things like fans threatening to set fire to the SM Ent building when that Lee Soo Man was planning to split them up. old news now. Other stars getting "anti-fans" because they supposedly just hugged them or didn't treat them well. I remember watching 2 members on Heroine 6 and everyone was kinda walking on eggshells around them and Kim Jong Kook was like a slave to them, i'm sur eit's for fun, but IMO they shouldn't be treated like that at that kind of age with nothing against their name.

SO we don't have any say in criticizing? DBSK work hard.. but how about many others who are unable to get their fame.

I tell ya, I don't hate them.. but I rather they stick to their orignial style, acapella. They show MORE talent in this genre than their current genre.

Aslo, can you blame many callng them H.O.T rip offs? ( fine no rip offsbut carbon copy). The trax, look at them in their IMOclothes. Rising Sun,wearing leather and heavy makeup.

hey, guys don't misunderstood what i say before. SJ are starters and they already been doing a great jobs. DBSK are really friendly boyband who wants their fans to be happy. All I meant was in this thread I really hope that this thread wouldn't have any Anti-DBSK fan or DBSk Fans would post in criticizing other boyband. Well everyone, we are rooting for our own favorite boyband so be a good as we can. Even if whoever is hot ripoff than who, they have the their own hotness.

I don't know if anyone here knows about it, but some shit-faces have decided it's cool to photoshop JunSu's pictures with a girl's and spread them around the Internet saying JunSu has a girlfriend.

1. Warming Up

Starting October 1st and 2nd at the popular sites, Telzone & Bestiz, the rumors of JunSu haveing a girlfriend began to spread. As everyone knows Telzone & Bestiz are the homes to where rumors start and begin to spread. But JunSu has such a clean background no matter how much you dig there's nothing to post about him especially in these two sites. JunSu's name rarely came up on these sites because of this reason. As if it was planned for the October 3rd release, the rumors began to spread almost like a warming up for the big day. Suddenly on the night of the 1st the random and sudden rumors of JunSu having a girlfriend began to spread. Then on the 3rd if you searched "JunSu" on naver the questions of his girlfriends began to pop up. At this point many fans were trying to drop it by secretly answering these questions and what not.

2. Timing

Staring on the 3rd it was the begining of a national holiday of Thanksgiving. This is the time frame where there are an abundant amount of users seeign it is a holiday. All the major sites are bombarded with traffic and people are online until late at night going to sleep late as well. Therefore the timing of this disaster couldn't have been timed any better.

3. Speed

The speed of the pictures spreading was amazing. Usually you can tell where a picture comes from, but these pictures spread so fast that it was impossible to figure out where they originated from. They were spread to various sites, forums, and cafes. Due to the fact that the same pictures were spread to so many sites it became a popular topic within minutes. It seems the *******s that made this planned it so that even if you're interested, or not, you will come across this picture.

4. Picture

Since there is enough proof that this was fake, lets just think about the logistics. No one in the right mind would post up pictures of themselves with an idol like JunSu on their Cyworld. Even if it's for "friends" only viewing. To think that the fanatical Cass fans would not find it is pure stupidity and anyone with any such knowledge of TVXQ will realize that their fans find out EVERYTHING. Is it possible that the MANY people interested in this topic could not find this "mystery girl"s cyworld or that the address on those pictures do not exist? This is not possible, especially in Korea where there is absolutely NO privacy. Not to mention in the pictures that looked like fakes she wrote, "JunSu said it looks fake" and to the picture where the height difference is noticeable she wrote, "It was hard tiptoeing."

5. The background & rumors

On the 16th JunSu arrived back in Korea alone from Thailand, and the fans were in a frenzy because this was when everyone found out that JunSu would be on Music Core. There were rumors that JunSu was in a city called KangReung. Someone had posted that JunSu was in KangReung and that her "oppa" had written down his license plate number, and that it was confirmed. But the thing is, there are plenty of fans where their LIFE is basically JunSu and they don't know his license plate number. So this would mean this fan can gather super information or it's someone that stalks JunSu on a daily basis. What's even more hard to believe is the actions of the "oppa" that saw him in real life. If a super idol like JunSu walks by instead of taking a picture he decided to write down his license plate number? Then suddenly the replies started to state that the background of JunSu's picture was KangReung. The picture spread and it was stated that this picture was taken on the 16th when JunSu went to KangReung.

The fans that follow their personal lives began to all believe that JunSu was at KangReung on the 16th. But there was not even one fan that said they personally saw JunSu there. No matter where everyone looked it came down to "I heard..." or "So and So told me." There was no definite proof. Another thing that makes absolutely no sense is that would SM bring JunSu back from Thailand, ALONE at that, to give him FREE TIME?! They don't even give him free time to properly heal, what makes ANYONE think that SM would give him free time to play?

I'm a big fan of DBSK... I thought this thread needed some pictures or news about them... So I think I should be posting things up for people to at least know more about them and stop criticizing them! They won most popular in 2005 and this BonSang Award at the Golden Disk Award. Hero Jaejoong is sick. Here is the article translated into english:

During this period, we had been following TVXQ! whenever they had performances on stage. Eversince the starting of the promotional activities of their 3rd album: 'O' Jung.Ban.Hap, Joongie had been falling sick. We only know that he had been having the cold for more than 4 times. i've never been a dbsk fan. actually, i don't think i like SM town peeps except shinhwa, HOT, and SES. but i did see a funny dbsk vid on youtube.

dbsk was doing an interview, hyesung walked by on the side. all the of the dbsk dudes had to stop in the middle of their interview and bow to hyesung. sungie didn't even acknowledge them and just kept walking.

Constructive criticisms are always good, but I don't see how labeling them as a carbon copy is going to make a difference. Personally, I don't think they're a copy of any boyband, but that's just my opinion, other people may think differently, though even if SM had intended on creating another H.O.T, like some say, that's not a crime is it? Plus, DBSK has been in the industry for over three years now, isn't it time to see them as something more? Why dwell on the fact that they might have started out by following H.O.T's footsteps? I think that by now, DBSK has proved that they have talent. If you don't see that, then I don't have anything more to say.

lolz, "O" style is weird like that... Jaejoong's hair looks like a cockscomb to me >_< ... actually, all their title tracks are like that...

SM did try to re-create the eusha eusha / candy effect (shinhwa/hot) through balloons (dbsg) but dbsg definately has their own thing going on. although i think a better vocal group is sg wannabe, dbsg is more entertaining, and they have personality. i'm so glad i'm not staying on campus this year cuz my roomate and i are going through a dbsg obssession phase. if we were to be in the same house, it would plunge our grades like crazy.
