Okay strawberry, I finally got a chance to see some of the Arashi clips you posted in this thread. The ones of them waking up in Hawaii were funny! Was it purposely done for the members to be woken up in order from youngest to oldest or was that just a coincidence? Jun was so darn hyper, haha.
Have you guys seen the Letters from Iwo Jima trailer? http://youtube.com/watch?v=xCZLkxYZmx0
Nino interview: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Mp8Y0ulv4...elated&search=
Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima were filmed back to back with the same director (Clint Eastwood) and yet none of the cast members ever met! I hope it'll be released where I'm at soon. It's only had limited release in the U.S. so far, but it can be an Oscar contender.

Hi Lady Zhuge, that's great, finally seeing you in the Arashi thread. Back to your questions, yes it was done purposely in that order. If I am not wrong, Jun came up with that idea. this is really rare scene of Jun now, you seldom catch him being kawaii and presenting this more 'childlike' side of him now. The clips were from 2002 if I am not wrong. As for the movie clips, I think I have seen those clips but I'll check them out to confirm. I have a sister who is a huge Arahi and esp nino fan so she's definiltly looking forward to Iwo Jima. In fact, she hopes the film or nino wins something at the Oscars. The movie will be release in Singpore in Feb. None of my closer friends have an interest in J-drama , J-groups or artists...kind of sad...they are all over Arg!! K-Dramas!! which I don't really like and quite failed to see the appeal.Originally Posted by Lady Zhuge

This is from a short series where Arashi leans Chinese....must watch series as well. Notice that the teacher had a soft spot for Sho and always gave him positive comments.. ha ha..which had the rest of Arashi all riled up.

This is from series of G No Arashi where Sho and Ohno both drew the same pictures and the guys have to match the pictures with luck, memory work and trying very hard to dicipher Sho's drawing. Now, Sho's drawings is famous in Arashi as is Ohno's except Ohno for the fact that he draws really well while Sho's...well....I drew better than him when I was 5....ha ha..

Thanks, strawberry. Jun was really disoriented when he was first woken up, but recovered so quickly! Of Arashi, I'm only familiar with Jun and Nino since I've seen them both in series. Nino seems to be a fan favorite. I hardly recognized him in the Iwo Jima trailer and literally had to do a double-take. The film has been nominated for two Golden Globes, one for best director and the other for best foreign language film. Supposedly it will open nationwide in January and preferably before second semester starts up!Originally Posted by strawberry
Haha, hopefully your friends will come around one of these days. I was into Korean dramas for awhile too, but after discovering Japanese series, I find there is more all-around appeal in terms of storyline and, well, eyecandy.

We see all their sleeping habits from here and its pretty interesting. I don't think they would come round to it at all..but never mind, at least I have you guys here and thankfully my sister at home. I don't really see the Korean eye candies but obviously they do. and frankly, even with eye-candy aside, even personality and entertainment-wise, I find the Japanese more appealing and have more to offer.Originally Posted by Lady Zhuge

haha....well, i also hardly have anyone to talk to about my current japanese craze especially about Arashi..most of my friends might think I'm mentally unstable if i started ranting about them..haha..so i just keep it to myself..but luckily my sister can take all my ranting and even helps me look out for arashi stuff...well, i guess the craze now is the korean wave...which i admit i used to like but it seems to have lost its appeal especially when i got hooked onto arashi...now i can only think about jap stuff..and honestly i think that japanese dramas seem to have much more appeal..or maybe im just bias..hah
anyway...here is one of the MMA episodes but this one is a special that arashi is currently doing, instead of looking after grandparents now they look after kids instead...this episode features junXohno...looking after two young girls...quite interesting...

hmm...i really prefer their suits here with a more biker feel to it rather than their usual pinky-orange suits that they usually wear....when jun did that victory sign during his short solo...he just looked too cute for his own good...hahah..Originally Posted by strawberry

I heard previously that Sho had an infectious laughter but didn't really felt that....I hear it here quite clearly..
This was the very first performance of Arashi (its actuallly nino's solo at their first concert in 2000) that made me sit up and take notice of them..so very talented boys...I started taking note of Aiba from this performance as well back in his quieter and more innocent days (not that he's not now but he's definitely noiser and much genkier now and seems much more baka too) As a group, I am impressed with them..they really work as a team. The reason Jun was not in this performance was because his solo was up next. My sister and I both don't feel this from News and Kattun at all.

and we all know that Nino is a talented song-writer. he performed this song that he composed and wrote at one of their 2004 concerts. One of the saddest songs he ever wrote I feel...look out for the translated chinese lyrics..they are simple but heart-wrenching and together with that tune and nino's soulful singing..it really touches hearts. you know, he makes you feel that he has actually experienced some tramatic love loss with the kind of songs he usually composes.
