I am sure NEWS will be back, here, let me convince you---

#1 - they have a contract with JE and JE wouldn't just let them do individual activities forever because it doesn't earn as much as money as group activities
#2 - It is still possible to register a NEWS fan in the You & J fanclub (made up of KT, NEWS & K8), why would JE allow that if NEWS will not get back together?
#3 - KT will probably be lying low for rest of this year, with Jin on a hiatus and the members having pretty much alot of individual projects, JE needs NEWS to come back to earn more money
#4 - Fangirls will burn down JE if NEWS do not come back by next year, yes fans are crazy like that
#5 - Yamapi can't be shoved into one temporary group after another, he's a mega star in the making, he needs to have something stable to lean on to ensure constant exposure.

Have I convinced you that NEWS will be back??
If not, here's a bit of rumour about NEWS -- the Yokohama arena is booked for Jan 7 to 9 next year. Apparently it is supposed to be for NEWS comeback concert next year.

Indeed the thread is slowing down, kinda hard to discuss about an artiste who do not have much public activities recently.

Anyway, I found an interesting article in Livejournal, the question posed here is whether Yamapi's fans will still remain by his side if he doesn't look the same anymore --- or worse disfigured. Alot of questions pop up in the comments which are truly very intriging, some really question how far you are as a fan and how far Yamapi is as an idol/entertainer surviving in the harsh entertainment industry.

The type of expectations that fans have are certainly scary sometimes, and the type of things people say are truly whacked out sometimes. Take some time to read through the article and the comments, definitely worth your while.

A fan wrote that? Well, its certainly a fan who is quite mature to be able to see beyond the face. My sister made the same comment recently to see beyond the face. I didn't know of Pi's intention to go bald, of course not for no good reason, maybe for a role. That would be interesting. I heard about that 2002 attack. Why did that guy attached him? Was it a threat? thk goodness, it was just a scare.

Previously, I had a conversation with my sis and we were talking about how Arsahi was doing all these interesting show and how bubbly and interesting they were. I said that it would be nice to see Yamapi doing shows like Mago Mago but my sis said that he was too 'cool ' to do that. Even if he would like to, he prob would not be allowed because he has a certain image to live up to. I feel that's kind of sad. Arashi's lucky, they can scream shout and yell on shows and just being themselves without worrying if fans can accept them or not. of course that also means they can take on more kinds of roles, which is really great! When idols are afraid to be themselves and afraid to po huai xing xiang (not too extreme extreme), it limits what projects they can take on.

The fact that the internet connection at my home's been really lousy, also translates to difficulty seeing yamapi stuff. I only managed it when I am away from home.

Btw, I think Pi's first ever official photo book is available at yes.asia from today. I am also watching Team medical dragon now. its is a better show than Kurosagi as far as plot goes...now Pi should be doing shows like that...

Kame is busy filming his drama, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, and busy with KAT-TUN activities of course. The drama is not doing well at the moment, first two episode has aired, considering how badly Suppli did last season, looks like Kame is definitely not pulling in the ratings. Even Kurosagi did better in the ratings department.

I think this could be a case of overexposure of artist...cashing in too much on a good thing.

I do think Kame is being overexposed as well, giving him alot of stuff to do now may be earning big bucks for the company, but getting too much of the same thing over and over again is damaging to Kame. I do think part of why Takki failed to maintain his popularity is cause he was overexposed and audience got sick pretty fast. Hmm... if JE is not careful, Kame might just end up like Takki.

Goto Maki was Pi's rumoured girlfriend at that point of time, I suppose the guy is one crazy obsessed fan who's unable to take the fact that his idol is dating. Well, good thing nothing happen to Pi physically, but I do think he got a big shock.

But one thing for sure is that some ex-members of Johnny came out and wrote a book/article about being molested by Johnny when they were members. And a few other folks came out to verify as well. It was proven that Johnny certainly did that but nobody sued because JE has too much money, and the rest of the entertainment industry didn't have too much reaction to the scandal cause JE has way too much of an iron grip on the industry. Snubbing JE would mean snubbing more than half of the top male idols in Japan, nobody would risk doing that.

Oh, and that was the reason why the dorms in JE closed down as well, the JE folks used to have dorms, the last folks who stayed there were Kinki Kids. Subsequently, everybody had to commute to work.

This is scandalous. very juicy tibit too, thks. Good thing that the dorm got closed down. I hope Pi and the rest never did went through such a thing. Young impressionable boys and moms looking for fame for their sons should think twice before sending their sons to JE eventhough things seemed ok now.

And she is going down the road of having a sex kitten image, her singles and albums just don't sell as much as before. In fact, the Hello! I too notice Goto Maki's current sex kitten image but I had the idea that helps sell albums instead of seeing sales dip. I thought sex always sells. The latest single of hers also shows her being styled as such.

I was randomly surfing the net when I came to this discussion forum on Pi...I am blown away by the amount of details to Pi they pay attention to...its really...mind-boggling.

Um, that thread is more than 50 pages, I seriously do not think I have the patience to read through so many pages. I frequently find fans in the JE fandom to pay high attention to details, indeed it is mind-boggling.

I do agree sex sells alot, I have no idea why it is not really working for her. Probably cause Goto Maki started out with a rather clean and kawaii image, the turn to sex kitten probably made her lose alot of old fans and fail to gain many new ones, since sex kittens are a dime a dozen.

I'm so glad Yamashita Tomohisa is not too skinny. As much as I like Matsumoto Jun, he looks too skinny and I'm glad YT is not skinny like that too. He actually looks like he has a healthy amount of "meat" on him. I don't know how he was in the past but he's definitely looked healthy and wholesome in Kurosagi.

His singing is good...he has a good voice that from hearing some of his songs. Acting...hmm...only seen one drama of his so I can't decide yet.

i caught by chance, short clips of Pi's new ancient special drama with koki from Kattun. One of the scenes was of a group of I think the young warriors having a mass bath. Becauase only the vital spots are covered up, it left nothing very much to the imagination and I certainly can see Pi had a very good body, toned and not skinny.

As for the Kurosagi theme, I think his voice was nice on it. He did not sound as good when he was younger but that has been improvement since. Speaking about the theme, have you seen his MV already? if not, its worth checking out.

Crazy indeed. If he's the one singing "daite", I don't see why the girl should take the hit...(especially such a sweet looking one like Horikita Maki).

Horikita Maki is in fact a very slim girl but she has a ‘big’ and chubby face. She is quite cute in that sense.
