Default Ximen ChuiXue vs Ye GuCheng in LXF book #3

I'm attempting to translate the last two chapters+epilogue of LXF Book#3.

I read these last chapters last night as a warm up before I start my translation. For those who have not read the third novel, I think it's "very clear" now who are the better of the two.

We as readers, were given the duel scenes from Lu Xiao Feng's point of view, I think the duel is as detailed as Gu Long can be, I won't spoil the ending, but does everyone in here agree with me ?

Reread chapter 12 during the duel. One of them was the "clear" winner.

What I mean is the "winner" didn't actually win.

    Don't spoil it Ken

"typical" Gu Long is the word here, the guy never gave out descriptive all-out duel scenes, everything was in the mind. Neither swordsman was at their "pure" peak of their swordnerdism as during the night of the duel, a lot happened and everything was more than meet the eyes, but someone has to lose

Heh. I'm dancing all around it trying to say what I want to say without spoiling anything.

Now, if only I can figure out what Lu Xiaofeng asked the Emperor and what made them laughed so hard at the end ?

yeah, I still haven't figured that out. And I don't think there was any hint of the answer in earlier or later books (I read the whole Liu Siu Feng series). What is it?
Is it something doing with Oue Yang Ching?
Either way, Liu Siu Feng owns, he was able to take a stance from you know who.

Luk Siu Fung also admitted, however, that he'd be hard pressed to do it again (although he did in the emperor's bedroom later on).

I don't think he did. The strike was never released because he barged in. I don't think he intercepted it.
