After reading this feat, I now have a new graspmanship for the term "embarrassment":

    忽听“啊”的一声,接着砰的一响,原来尹志平看着八人相斗,渐渐头昏目眩,天旋地转,不知有多少个黄药师在 奔驰来去,眼前一黑,仰天摔倒,竟自晕了过去。

Suddenly they heard a sound of "Ahhhh!" followed by a loud thump. What had happened was that Yin Zhiping, while watching the rapidly occurring fight between Huang Yaoshi and 7 Masters of Quanzhen, felt dizzy and dizzier. He felt like the sky was revolving around him now. Eventually he lost track of how many Huang Yaoshi's are in front of him. Then everything turned black as his head tilted upward to faint on the ground.

Yin Zhiping, a bona-fide martial artist from Quanzhen, lost his conscience and fainted just by watching a Great-level fight because he couldn't fathom the speed! And all he had to do was watch! What a joke.

I've had a closer look at the Xiao Feng vs Tiger scenario. It doesn't seem quite as embarrassing beacause:

    1) Xiao Feng had been transferring internal energy into Ah Zi's body to keep her alive. It was said that he did this nonstop for the first few days, and even someone of his calibre was greatly exhausted to the point of not being able to sit up. So, he probably lost a great deal of internal strength then.

    2) Xiao Feng hadn't eaten anything for several days, and he was lost in the snow carrying Ah Zi. It was said that if his martial arts weren't so great, he would have died in the cold.

It was under those conditions when Xiao Feng striked the tiger. Probably he didn't even have 50% of his peak strength at that time.

AND equally important, it was said that even a very strong martial artist would have died under his strike, but the tiger was STRONGER than a very strong martial artist. So, loss of internal energy + harsh weather + hunger + extra strong tiger = hard to kill. I won't hold this against Xiao Feng any more.

Also, regarding Xiao Feng not able to kill Ah Zi instantly. The doctor said that she really died immediately. However, due to Xiao Feng's great internal strength, he could insert a great amount into her body to keep her barely alive. But even doctors have no way of bringing her back to life. So Xiao Feng really did kill Ah Zi. It just shows what wonder internal energy can do in RDPBTL: Resurrecting Dead People Back To Life.
