Mixing the ultimate wuxia drink...your chance to experiment

Wulin folks drink hard. This is a wulin convention. With the exception of monks and nuns (and sometimes not even them), wulin people are generally heavy drinkers.

Let's say some notorious wulin drinkers...say Kiu Fung, Ling Wu Chung, Luk Siu Fung, Lee Chum Foon, etc., come into a tavern where you are the chief liquor server. They ask you to bring them some of the tavern's "best." In the tavern's storeroom is pretty much every conceivable variation of alcoholic beverage ever made in ancient China.

What kind of drink are you going to mix up? What kind of reaction do you expect to get?

I'd toss Xiao Feng Everclear. As much Everclear as he can take.

Here's what I would do if there were a major wulin hero in the house.

I'd take one part Chong Yeun Hung, one part Lui Yee Hung, one part kaoliang wine, one part Juk Yip Ching, one part maotoi, and just for the heck of it, throw in some Jack Daniels too.

Two things can happen:

1. He likes the brew and asks for more, and I'll duly oblige. After about ten bowls of the stuff, I can step back and watch the fun.

2. It gives him diarrhea, in which case (especially if I'm dealing with Kiu Fung) I'd better start running until I reach, oh say, Iceland.

Yea Ever Clear should take him down slightly. I've had VERY bad experiences with the Everclear.
