Default Z3f aka Zhang JunBao #1 martial artist in JY's realm?

JY did specify he is the strongest martial artist in his interview apparently but how do you all view on this matter?

    Lets first go through the list of a 'few' other potentials;

    Sweeper Monk
    DGQB
    SPT
    ZWJ
    YG
    GJ
    Lady Yang
    Huang Sheng
    WCY
    DFBB
    XZ
    WYZ
    TSTL
    DY
XF (for the love of Damo )

So was JY on crack when he said that? Let the fight begin

"Best martial artist" does not necessarily mean "best fighter." I think Jin Yong meant to say that of all his characters, Cheung 3 Fung had the best understanding of martial arts and how to learn/create/teach it. That does not necessarily mean that he was the best *fighter*, however, and could defeat all of the people on that list you have. Based on what we see, it's more or less certain that Cheung 3 Fung could not defeat the Janitor Monk, and Cheung 3 Fung himself was uncertain that he'd attained the level of Gwok Jing and Yeung Gor (he probably did, but nothing indicates that he had surpassed either).

Before I get accused to being a "leech," let me say that I didn't come up with that idea. Somebody postulated it long ago and it's become a popular interpretation.

    XF has got no chance:

    (Some interview)
    ●《天龍八部》中蕭峰、段譽、虛竹和掃地僧,究竟誰武功最強?包括內力經驗絕技等?(蔡子正)
    金庸:掃地僧最強。
"Whose martial arts out of Xiao Feng, Duan Yu, Xuxhu and the Sweeper Monk is the strongest? It takes into account of their internal strength cultivation and special skills." (Cai Zizheng)
Jinyong: "Sweeper Monk is the strongest."

PS. That guy just had to put Sweeper Monk in his query as if we don't know the answer already... It sure would've been a different outlook of DGSD if he wasn't included.

    Haha, I was joking

Of course out of DGSD, Sweeper is the strongest but XF just got to be in every discussion just as the YG vs GJ debate.......

And yes you are right, darn got to go to Cambridge and find JY to ask which of the 3 brothers is in fact the strongest....

I think the guy didn't read the novel.

Or maybe he was a hardcore Janitor Monk fanboy who just *had* to hear Jin Yong personally say that the Janitor Monk was the best/most powerful.

I wish he had said something like this: Out of Murong Fu's 4 assistants, Su Xinghe's 8 disciples, and Duan Zhengchun's mistresses--including Madam Ma--oh and let's just toss in the Sweeper Monk for fun, who had the best martial arts?

This reminds me of the SouthPark episode where God allows the gathered crowd ONE question and the dumb little boy beats everyone to the punch and asked why he doesn't have a period.

So, who is this IDIOT who asked JY that? I sooooo want to SLAP HIM!

JY probably don't want to answer these questions by you hardcore fans, hence he let in dumb reporters.

The irony of God possibly forcing that dumb boy to ask that question instead of having to answer what is the meaning of life.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest at all when it was followed up by this question: "Dugu 9 Jian + Pixie Swordplay; which is better?"

Cai Zizheng. He probably resides in Taiwan.

Oh if u're gonna look for the guy, don't forget to knock off some of his front tooth and baseball bat the imbecile to death while you're at it.

Lin Yuantu's martial arts (creator of Pixie Jianfa) might be higher than Dongfang Bubai, no? Since Lin had access to the complete Sunflower Manuscript... or something like that.

Ignoring the self-mutilation aspect, I'd still say Bi Xie is a more deadly skill.

In fact, its not quite apples to apples since Bi Xie is actually an inner energy skill and DG9J is pure external theory.

You would think so seeing how powerful YBQ had got over such a short period of time, but according to JY he wanted DG9J to be stronger.

But to be fair, we have never seen DGQB fight, and I would not be suprised if he defeated the creator of PXJF.
wow..04-08....4 years just like that..time flies..
