I haven't read Ode to Gallantry, nor watch the TV Show about it. It's almost impossible to find it in here in my country. Maybe there were a novel about that, but it must be a very long time ago. And no publisher willing to publish it again now. And even if I can find, the name will be in Hokien. So it will be hard to match with Gongfu & Bingyin version. Thus, I won't know who Shi Po Tian.

But, can somebody tell me the story of Ode to Gallantry? I don't mind to be spoiled. As I don't mind to watch new version of LOCR and others even when I have already have known about it for long time, and know how the ending perfectly.

the story was about every 10 years , 2 envoys of heroes' island come to invite leader of qualified sect to drink gruel in heroes' island, if you refuse, then you would be killed right in the spot, but the problem was any leader who went to that island, never come back.

yes, one is shi po tian, the other is shi zhongyu , shi po tian was kidnapped since baby , and supposed to be killed . so he doesnt know who his real parents are.
shi po tian didnt know any martial arts in the beginning of the novel, while shi zhongyu has been sent to Snow Mountain Sect by his parents.
