How chow chi yuek really fare against ZWJ?

Something that I don't really have a firm understanding on , how chow chi yuek's half baked , express trained 9 yin fare against ZWJ? Those who watched the TV adaptations, said she posed as a dangerous threat and it would take ZWJ a hard time to defeat her. But in the novel . during the shaolin competition , ZWJ realised chow was actually very weak that he could utterly destroy her if she received his full blow. Also during the match with the 3 elder monks, ZWJ did most of the fighting while chow 's whip could do nothing at all.

Zhou Zhiruo isn't really that powerful. It's just that her techniques were surprising and very ruthless, so her opponents are often surprised and defeated quickly before they could figure out her weakness. I believe some of them could have beaten her if they had the time to adapt to her movements.

So, despise dabbling in the 9yin manual for about a year, she is (of course) nowhere near Zhang Wuji's level, who was trained in 9yang for over a decade.

Once the real heavy-weights come out to play, she has to sit by the sandbox and wait until she can jump in without getting slapped down hard.

Agreed. She was likely no match for Zhang Wuji. If Zhang Wuji really wanted he could smack her down real quick.

Not even time to truely match with zwj. She showedsho her potential to be a top expert but was a good 5 years from compeletion at least.
