One day they sought shelter at a house whence a youth came out and made a low obeisance. They asked his name and he gave it as Liu An, of a well known family of hunters. The flesh of one arm had been cut away. Quite startled he asked what this meant, and then he knew what he had eaten the night before. He was deeply sorry at this proof of his host's regard and the tears rained down as he mounted his steed at the gate.
P.S. She mustive been ugly and full of meat.

never watch any of the adaptation. i'll see if this one is any good. 80 episodes...it is long.
watching korean ancient series 'jumong' right now. 60 episodes but i can say that this series is much better than some of chinese series out there. the directing/scenery/music and acting are much better than some of the wuxia out there.

Darn!! You're lucky. It's not available in SG thru tv nor video. I heard it's very good even tho' some guy in the Japan/Korea Series forum said it's not.

I think the only chance Takeshi would take part is if he were to play Lu Bu.. since that guy does not appear for too long heh =P
Heh.. I never had the impression that Lu Bu is handsome. I thought he was suppose to be wild and rough instead. All brawn no brain type. Guess I played the game too much =D
Would be great to have Takeshi playing Zhao Yun though. As for Nic.. hm maybe he can play the beautiful warrior Zhou Yu? ^^

Wang Zhao Jun hasn't been released yet, right? Da Dun Huang is his most recently released serial although I'm not sure which one of the two he directed first. Anyway, I tend to enjoy his historical productions, so I'm glad he's on board with this one. Originally Posted by sunnysnow

We may get an overdose of SGYY in the next few years. Chen Jia Lin will start filming the new SGYY next year, there will also be a HK movie version focusing on Chibi, and Zhang Ji Zhong still plans to film SGZ as well.(\__/)

Do you think this version of SGYY will have a modern feel, i mean as in using younger actors. I can't think of anyone who will do a better job than TGQ as Zhuge Liang. Among the actors who have worked with ZJZ, I haven't seen anyone with qualities of Kong Ming. Originally Posted by Lady Zhuge

Takeshi Kaneshiro should be good. Love him. Hot as fire and an excellent, versatile actor. Though I think he's sticking to movies.
