hey guys, does anyone know anything bout derek kwok? i think hes a really underrated actor and deserves more recognition. i only started noticing him as hes playing bigger roles now. any sites on him in english cause i cant read chinese.

Yeah, Derek has always been a great supporting actor. I recently saw him in Face to Fate and really liked his bada$$ (turned good) character in there.

I have to say I not really noticed just how great he is until i watched LWOLAP. he is absolutely perfect in that series faultless acting!!! its good to see he's finally being recognised and given bigger roles!

i noticed him first in LWOLP. he´s such a great actor. i loved him in LWOLP and FTF. in my opinion Derek is much better than a lot of other main actors

I like him since...can't remember the show but he was the husband of Louisa Soh. He's getting more significant roles now although I wish TVB gives him even more chances.

I'm watching Your Class or Mine and his acting is great as usual. The scenes with Sheren Tang and him are so good. The scene where she breaks up with him and then confirming that she will not get back with him is done so well. I mean their acting and chemistry together is so believeable and how he gets jealous, how he cares for her, how he becomes emotional and almost crying, it's all very convincing.

I don't remember if he was named, but he should be Shang Zhixin. Iirc, his father was one of the San Fan, and wasn't Wu Sangui. That would make Pingnan Prince Shang Kexi as the most obvious one to be his dad, and Shang's most famous son would be Shang Zhixin. Or it could have been another son, as Shang Zhixin revolted against Kangxi historically, while Derek's character looked to be loyal to Kangxi after Noel made the decision to accept him.
