Do you mean Melisa vs michelle..? who michelle?

Okay..how in the world can Ron and Bosco be on top (above Moses or Bobby, or Sunny or Steven)---it's ridiculous..they are not up to par yet. Only Raymond on the top 5 list can be up to par with Steven and Roger. Ron has demonstrated more than once his inability to act in different characters..and show emotions when acting..bosco has improved but gosh ... not way up there yet.

Gosh..Sheren isn't in the top for the females, instead LYF is? That's so wrong...makes no sense---she may be cute but she did only 1 series aired in hongkong--no matter how beauitful one think she is---her acting is not be better than Sheren or Melisa or Gigi--gosh...these actresses took years to demonstrate their ability..LYF is way too new and has not demonstrated the same acting skills.


I hope these top 5 change--seriously..what are hong kong people thinking.

Are these "actual" results from poll or does TVB use these two make decisions?

Hmm basically we should note that this award is more of a popularity award organized by some big name magazines in HK. The one with more votes from audience worldwide got bigger chance to win.

The judgements are based on this:

80% - poll from Oct 3 - sometime in Nov (from around the world, NOT HK alone)
20% - professional judges

My early prediction (what I think not what I want haha, I actually voted for someone else :P):

Male TV artiste awards: Raymond Lam (Raymond has a really big fanbase around the world and in HK)

Female: Charmaine or Myolie (Charmaine is like Ray, has worldwide fans while Myolie is on the spotlight now)

Liu Yi Fei might have gotten lots of support from her mainland fans since anyone can vote hehe.

do not underestimate ron's and michelle's fanbase. cause as bad as their acting is, their fanbase is quite huge, especially in the mainland.

and yea this is like another popularity award so don't be surprised if ron really wins

Yeah I totally understood it as a popularity thing..

but at least in the past few years decent actors/actresses were in top 5---like Roger, Bowie, Moses,etc...so I didn't know if this was just fan-based polls of who fans want to win..

OR actual TVB polls that determine the top 5...because if it is this, it doesn't make sense with the top 5 male and females that are listed below..(I can't see TVB including them in the top5 list---not just for popularity but for political reasons---what would their "veteran" actors/actresses think..that these "youngsters" with such less experience get the awards or make it to the top 5 list---when they didn't...so I do think TVB makes political choices..

so at first I thought these were the "political" choices from TVB...

so if you tell me these polls are fanbased and not TVB's "political" polls then I understand.

somehow I don't even find him that good looking-- he can't act in "manly" roles -- all his roles are "youngsters"..

blah but i guess most voters are young individuals and find him appealing.
