The story is basically about the chalice fairy (zhang ting) being sent down to earth as a punishment for not guarding the magical chalice properly. She's supposed to serve 1000 owners, and grant them each 3 wishes before she can return to the heavens. One of her owners is a wealthy man whose son is Zheng Feng (Roger Kwok). Zheng Feng has a loving wife Xiuxiu (Liu Tao) and an adorable daughter (BaoBao). He later becomes the chalice fairy's owner and they fall for each other. Cao Jing (Christopher Lee) is the evil guy who killed Zheng Feng's father because the latter killed his father. Cao Jing is also in love with Xiuxiu and wants to snatch her away from Zheng Feng.

I cant find a thread for this series. It was filmed late last year and has just been released not long ago. For Singaporeans, it will broadcasted on weekday nights, 7pm on channel 8. It's a Mainland-Taiwan-HK-S'pore co-production.

No.. Zhang Ting's character still shares a sort of romance with both Roger and Christoper. I haven't watched the series yet but i saw a little of the trailer.

Finally, a new series with Liu Tao in it! Butta is the show nice or not? Coz i saw the preview from tv, it looks a bit similar to Whatever it Takes's story.

Someone posted in Zhang Ting's thread that the series is not gd because Christopher Lee ruined it. I've not watched it yet, plan on catching it when it starts showing on Channel 8 tmr night.

So far the serial is good, and very funny! Really, I was laughing half the time I watch it. Zhang Ting's great in her fairy role and is absolutely adorable in the show! Zhang Ting's fairy and Zhao Zichun's Baobao are my favourite characters!
