Default What else could Chow Chi Yerk have discovered on Peach Blossom Island in HSDS Ed. 3?

In the third edition of HEAVEN SWORD AND DRAGON SABRE, Chow Chi Yerk did not find the 9 Yum Jen Ging and the Mo Muk War Tactics Manual in the Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre, but a map to Peach Blossom Island, where the two manuals were hidden.

By the time that Chow Chi Yerk went to Peach Blossom Island, nobody (as far as we know) had been there in over a hundred years. Most likely, after the deaths of East Heretic Wong Yerk See and the Gwok Family, Peach Blossom Island was abandoned. Chow Chi Yerk, of course, retrieved both the 9 Yum Jen Ging and the Mo Muk War Tactics Manual from the island, but what else might she have found there?

Chow Chi Yerk probably had very little interest in or knowledge about wulin history, but she had unwittingly become a wulin archaeologist of sorts...entering a historical treasure trove of artifacts dating to the wulin of a century before her own time.

Some things she might have seen that would not have had much meaning for her, but would have represented a wulin archaeologist's bonanza:

    1. Peach Blossom Formation (likely no longer operational, as nobody had maintained it for over a hundred years; perhaps the peach blossoms grew naturally, however, and continued to thrive even without maintenance)

    2. The graves of the Gong Nam 5 Freaks and Wong Yerk See's wife, Ah Hang. Is it possible that Wong Yerk See and Ohr Jen Ngok were buried there as well?

    3. Various artifacts and personal items that had belonged to Wong Yerk See, Ah Hang, Wong Yung, Gwok Jing, the Peach Blossom Island disciples, Gwok Fu, the Mo Brothers, etc.

    4. The books in Wong Yerk See Library...which might have contained manuals for Peach Blossom Island's martial arts?

What other items might have remained at Peach Blossom Island a century after people had last been known to live there?

Nah, Wong Yung wears it all the times for protection. Therefore, the Mongol took it when she died.

Will the Mongols know that the vest is a piece of treasure?

But they've place the 9 Yin & War tactics there, so she may also have placed the armour there too as they know the end was coming and don't want it to fall into the Mongolian hands.

With the body armour, she can at least kill a few more enemies.
