Jin Yong, Gu Long, or Other?

Are you a bigger wuxia fan of Jin Yong stories or Gu Long stories?

Are you sure your "GL" is discussing the late wuxia author Gu Long and not GREEN LANTERN...a superhero/sci-fi comic published by DC Comics?

I haven't read much of the Jin Yong novels.
But I read a lot of Gu Long novels, and I find that they suit me better. I like the storylines more and the characters more.

Jin Yong for me. But then I have never read any stuff from Gu Long or the other authors so I'd have to go for Jin Yong.

i prefer gulong, over jinyong, his wulin is much more mysterious, and vast. furthermore, their is no definite , easily-definable ranking in his wulin. i also love huang yi. this is not to belittle jinyong who brought me into the wuxia fold, i still love his stories.

Only read GL when I'm really bored and too lazy to touch my C-E dictionary. GL books are too depressing for recreational reading, including his best like Emo Swordsmen or Meteor Butterfly Sword.
