ROFL … odbayarb2000, just look at your own avatar! At least the fox from ‘The Fox And The Hound’ (also from Robin Hood) was a male fox … I used to think (naively) that people chose their avatar to represent themselves, i.e. a male will choose some masculine avatar, and vice versa … until I joined this forum for quite awhile.

disrupt, the cliffhangers were not intentional. If you are around long enough, you might remember at the beginning of my translation work here at LOCH we had some discussions about it. If you want to know, check this out:

However, for those of you who are too busy or too lazy to read ‘back issue’, or you are new to this forum, here is the bottom line:

• Wuxia novels are so addictive. If you are like me, you won’t stop until ‘the end’. Even translating is addictive. That’s why I finished it up and get it over with.
• We had a vote and most of the response said you (the readers) are OK with daily updates, since it gives us all something to look forward to everyday. Plus, it will give IcyFox and the HSDS team to catch up.
• Usually I divide the chapters into equal parts of about 1500 words each (more or less, depending on the chapter itself). I have never divided the chapters into ‘cliffhangers’ intentionally; and I have been doing this since Chapter 14 almost a year ago.

I remember that conversation, foxs! I was only teasing you. Actually, I suspect it's to do with the way the novel is written - to be split like this into daily updates for newspapers.

Some good action here! GJ actually managed to think in a fight for once! He's getting better...
