She looks good in her ancient drama costumes but she doesn't look good in the modern clothing picture.

I concur! She first caught my eye as Qiurong in Liao Zai Zhi Shi and I thought she looked really pretty in there. I also saw her a little in Hua Tian Xi Di Qi Xian Nu, in which she plays Qi Xian Nu, the 7th fairy. But then, i saw her modern pics and though she's still pretty, she's not as attractive and stunning as compared to when she's in ancient costume. Her features are not stunning but she has a very demure, cute, soft and clean look to her (somewhat like Shui Ling), which is very refreshing and easy on the eyes. Her acting is soso though..she was pretty stiff and expressionless in Liao Zai.

haiz another one of those absolutely stunning chinese actresses overshadowed by LYF <--------- seems like a convenient target everytime anyone has anything to grumble about lol
