I watched the first episode last night. It hasn't piqued my interest thus far, so hopefully it'll pick up soon.

Huang Hai Bing, Chen Hao, and Tang Guo Qiang are the leads only in the first part which takes place during the Northern Song dynasty.

It's okay so far. I like the costumes, scenery, and thespians, but the storyline is too slow.

The serie is already out in stores. I got it last week. It is pretty good, but not very interesting as of yet. Very slow..... Going toward episode 5 soon.

I finished the first story. It did get a little more exciting toward the latter few episodes, but overall it's draggy and the ending is sad. No me gusta.

I don't know why producers have a thing for sad endings as that effectively puts me off from ever buying series with sad endings no matter how good the preceding Episodes were. 7 Swords is another one, good in everything except for the stupid ending.

I heard that the first story is supposed to be the most interesting one. Good Lord, I hope that's not true because then the other two would pretty much be guaranteed snorefests. I'll have to watch and see.
