This casting for a historical drama sounds appealing. Finally, a historical drama with a good-looking cast.

There's already a thread for this here:

And if im not wrong, Nic, Cecelia and Takashi are unconfirmed casts. Only Jiang Wen and Chen Bao Guo are confirmed. Knowing ZJZ, who likes to open his mouth and boast before anything's settled, I wouldnt bank on seeing Nic, Cecelia and Takashi onscreen, who seldom accept tv series offers, especially Cecelia and Takashi.

This is not ZJZ's version of 3 Guo. There are many productions of this story right now that makes people confused.

I heard that Cecelia will not in this series anymore because she's pregnant.

Why do you say that? I don't remember him saying an english words in his ancient lines. Your comment struck me funny though to hear someone say an english word in the middle of an ancient line.

oh sorry, i mean he did that in another series, amazing twins where he said "bibi" as in baby when he supposed to say "chai" or "har yee" meaning son not once but TWICE. you see, proper language or at least right word is very important in wuxia dialogue, and to hear english in it is neither here nor there as a matter of fact, i noticed others said the wrong thing as well but they sounded chinese, so i suppose passable where dialect and dubbing is concerned. but english, no no no!

    sheraldine,

Bibi is very informal, yes. I wouln't call it english though. More like canto because I hardly hear it in mando. However, that might not have been his fault. Was it even his real voice or a dub? Also, the scriptwriter & director should have done something about it.

from what i know, it is nic's voice. the same goes with dicky. i agree, the scriptwriter and director should have done something about it but like i said at the other forum thread, either they are sleeping or something else... as for bibi, well, it is originated from english baby, only we "cantonized" it, just like we cantonized every other language or dialect....
