    Default Big Families

How come the Heroes never have big families and relatives? I mean, aren't asian families suppose to have many siblings and relatives? Of course, it could explained that wuxia couples are too busy doing wulin things to actually procreate and have large families, but what about the earlier generations? How come there aren't more cousins and granduncles and aunts?

one, because jy too busy creating and developing the heroes's foes and various skills and that is why this forum is so active with diehard fans and vice versa.

two, if YG could make our mr moderator moans and groans endlessly, (couldnt resist it ) just think what will happen if there is a YG junior. and siblings like guofu/brothers of RoCH and qian long of B&S are such moron and traitor.

three, cheong mokei alone could make 4 girls go ga ga over him. a mokei junior would make me wa waa waaa miss cheong? she might end up spoilt.

four, uncle aunties cousins and relatives are either kept/hidden or being banished/isolated.... thats the usual family and generation scene, right?

If a hero has too many relatives and family members, it will hinder his adventure.

Most of them die pretty early. And for the protagonists, we rarely see their after-novel life.
Burying his Dugu 9 Jian manual under an epitaph, Dugu Qiubai felt he has left his legacy for the next generation. He then moved to Shaolin to study Buddhism, sweep floors and tap elite fighters.
