Sorry, Baidu deleted the fat pics. Re-hosted them on imageshack.

Didn't Hu Ge have a gf during that time too? He and his gf broke up because she wanted to study abroad or something?
I'm assuming they are both available now?
Xiaolong...that ain't no fat picture of him!!! hahaha....the face is just chubbier than normal, but his body is still skinny
100 lbs? maybe not. but right he looks fine to me lol
im actually okay with that hair! i think its better than that phase he went through before with the facial hair and long ponytail lol.
just curious - what kinda hair would you prefer on him xiao xiao?
although i really like the second-to-last picture of YH (above) where he's capping his water bottle and smiling in a mischievous way
and i agree btw, this hair looks nice on him!
I'm watching "The God of Medicine" with Adam Cheng and Yuan Hong is in it [towards the last 10 or so episodes]. Yuan Hong is so funny in this show. He's kind of heroic, but also a simple and straightforward street performer/teeth puller/pugilist [lol thats what he said].
Yuan Hong's strongest physical feature is definitely his face, especially his eyes and eyebrows. It's a more solidly attractive face than either Peter Ho or Hu Ge. No offense fans! I watch their series too! Not that Peter Ho and Hu Ge are not attractive, but their attractiveness has a lot to do with their style ie hair, accessories, clothing and what not. Well, Peter Ho has a great build but Hu Ge is just too thin. I'm glad if Yuan Hong gained weight, it's not attractive when guys are too skinny.
I like me.
In the series "The God of Medicine", Yuan Hong's role was different from his other roles in other series and it shows how much versital(sp?) Yuan Hong is, however, I really don't like him in this series. I don't think it suits him......I prefer him in roles that are manly(much more sexy) than the funny and boyish-looking look. Also, I had to wait forever for him to show up in this series!!! LOL....
LoL I think we're anticipating the same series and follow the same actors. It's true I waited forever for him to show up too! I was like "Dang, series is almost over...where is he??" I know what you mean by preferring Yuan Hong in the manlier roles. I just think that Yuan Hong does a fine job in any roles that he takes on. And he's so tall...he's looks even taller than Adam Cheng! Liu Shi Shi, in modern pics, looks so tiny standing next to him, and she's like 5 inches taller than I am!
I like me.
I think his hairstyles depend on the projects he's working on. He had that unshaven look/ponytail because he was filming <Clothing The World>. Now he has a nice short haircut because he's filming <Fog of Dragons>. His next collaboration with Li Guo Li will be set in the Qing Dynasty, so he's going to be a baldie again!
See baldie pics taken when he was filming <Heaven and Earth People>:
Come to think of it...how come Hu Ge never films Qing Dynasty dramas? Maybe he's scared of shaving his head?

Hu Ge shaved head? Oh no...LOL. His face is too long for that, I mean...with the ancient series he did in the past, he had to have bangs to shorten his face....not good idea...hehehe
not that anyone really looks good with a shaved head....lol
I'm looking forward more to "Fog of Dragons". There's been a lot of buzz in the media about it and it looks like it has a really exciting plot.
See this interview: http://video.sina.com.cn/p/ent/v/m/2...161054383.html - it's quite amusing because Yuan Hong says he's really happy to be in (relatively) contemporary clothes after being in period dramas throughout his career.
He looks much better in this kind of cropped short hair than bald.
Can we watch "Heaven and Earth People" anywhere online? There has been very good reviews of YH's performance as the young Qi Jun Zao in the media.

well when he does go bald, he can still pull it off. although i prefer the shots where he has that cute little cap on
Favourite YH pic of all time
