I'm assuming you've seen BBJX? Well, you know how Ruoxi/LSS does not have a title in the palace so the Emperor/Nicky could see her anytime he wants to without having to abide by palace protocol? If Ruoxi was a concubine, the emperor would have to flip her card over every time he wanted to see her, thus that's why he didn't give her a title (thus Untitled One). YH is the favorite of the Emperor (LSS) and he gets the privilege to be independent and the emperor can see him as much as she pleases...LOL.
