Stamina only matters if the two fighters are close in ability. Z3F was most likely still at a significantly higher level than ZWJ. As pointed out by several people, Z3F defeated a Xuan Ming elder in 1 move which I don't think even someone like GJ/YG/ZWJ is capable of. ZWJ was recognized as No.1 in Wulin but that was only due to the fact that Z3F was retired and was assumed to be on an entirely different level from everyone else in Wulin.
