Thanks Shirley. I loved this show when it aired more than 10 years ago. The soundtrack's really nice, esp the lyrics. I like the first part of the series, but at the end, things were really draggy.

hey this is such a famous series although it is quiteold...i love this show....but true, xu xien and bai niang ze's part were better that shu lin and mei niang (their son n the monster who copied angie's face...)

i was just wondering, does anyone know why they chose cecilia yip to play the role of a man when there are many actors suitable for the role?i can never quite get it....not that she wasnt good, i was just curious...been curious for almost a decade now

yep cecilia yip is the one w steve ma in hsds...no mushy ksing scenes, just mushy lines but still wonderin' why? this series is a good one, regardless of it being old...and long too, 50 eps but it is fairly enjoyable

OH MY GOD!!! LOVE this series. Both the leading actresses (Angie Chiu and Cecilia Yip) acted very excellent. I remember seeing this 13 yrs. ago but still like it since until now. Thanks Luv_xinbai for making this thread and Shierly for making the forum up.

Yes, I'm very surprised. Although she 38 but her beauty looks very stunning. She looks like 25 yrs. old in the movie though. No wonder why she deserved the title "An Ancient Beauty" in the '80s!

angie's xinbai series is in 1993 and she's already 38 years old there. my friends thought that she's just 25 years old. can u believe it? she looks so young in her age, u see her now, don't like 53 years old. i think she's around 40 angie....
