breaststroke is easier.you can pick freestyle up easily if you keep on practicing.I like to see people swim butterfly.I mean,it's fun to practice also lar...

Default Retirement of Ian " Thorpedo " Thorpe

It is so sad to see such a young swimmer retire at the age of 24.

    Yay I'm a swimmer too

My best strokes are freestyle and breaststroke (lol the name is kind of ironic)...I think butterfly is the most beautiful but I'm not very good at it (plus I don't want to practice it much since then I'd get broad shoulders).

    And I detest backstroke!

Technically, breaststroke is the slowest, then backstroke. Free is of course the fastest, and then butterfly. I prefer fly over backstroke, but it's not my expertise. I think fly is one of the most interesting to watch, because the stroke is so pretty...

Not to mention it's extremely nice to watch when Michael Phelps is competing in fly...

But if you watch Leison Jones. She makes breastroke looks so easy. Other swimmers been doin more than a few stroke. all she hafto do is onli doin one strong pull and she can catch them up.

I remember tat when i was watchin Melbourne Commonwealth las yr.

it's extremely nice watching Michael Phelps do anything...even watching him stand. Anyone ever looks at those speedo catalogs?
but i admit, he looks most graceful doing the 'fly

btw, is the question asking for favorite stroke u like doing or watching?

That I have to agree with. Michael Phelps is quite easy on the eyes.

I used to have a poster of him in my room, but then I exchanged it for another poster after he got caught drunk driving...

I assumed the question meant doing, but watching, my fave stroke would have to be butterfly.

butterfly seems to be the favorite for watch for many of us....well, professional looking butterfly (ie phelps).

though watching novice butterfly can gives me a bigger headache than watching "bad" other strokes, esp when u see the person's feet & head above the water at the same time with their stomachs sinking. it's a pain to see .

eh da, 34.5 secs mean 35 rounded up.. michael phelps is an awsome swimmer but he's quite short though
