who's the better singer?

mariah of course doesn't need introduction.
regine velasquez on the other hand is a filipino singer so i've gathered.
who do you think is the better singer, setting aside popularity. anyway here are some video clips.

Regine's got a more colourful and clearer voice than MC. However, watching the two of them perform, I have to say that Regine seems to be rather 'dead' on the stage but MC moves and sways and just do her stuff onstage. So I think MC is a better performer but Regine got a nicer voice. just my opinion.

mariah is a diva in her own right we will all agree on that.. on the other hand, regine our homegrown talent has proven that she has the voice to top mariah's.. im not saying this because were from the same country. regine was given a lot offers to break the us music scene and she never accepted all those offers because she wants to stay here.. a lot of american singers was also amazed by regine's talent such as paul anka brian mcknight etc. i think if she accepted the offers in us, she'll beat mariah in no time. but well she's still asia's songbird isnt she?
