Has anyone watched the new James Bond film yet? Both Daniel Craig and the movie are much better than I expected.

I just watched it. I think it's pretty good. It didn't really gave me the James Bond feel at the start, but progressing further, I think Daniel Craig fends up pretty nicely as a James Bond. He's really badass in here too, I liked it~

Overall, the movie's worth a watch.. but it's just too bad *spoilers*

    that Vesper died. Sad.

Yep. I thought she said something to the point that Vesper will be in the next movie!

I have never liked any bond's movie before. I think bond's character is unrealistic. But this new one changed my perspective. I love it.

Casino Royale was actually the very first of Ian Fleming's Bond novels, so Daniel Craig was given a license to not be as suave as all the other Bonds.

Mads Mikkelsen reminds me of a younger Christopher Walken. Le Chiffre's bleeding eye was creepy.

I can't stand the old Bond version. Suave is one thing, emotionless is another thing. No matter how experienced or well trained, nobody can keep his coolness in dangerous situation like the previous Bond did. That is unrealistic. Just my two cents though.

Yep. Maybe she'll be back as another character or something; I don't know. But if she comes back alive, I reckon they're gonna show something like Bond saved her, but act as if she's dead... I'd like that

Ah. Now I'm sure I'm looking forward to the sequel.. if there's one. Daniel Craig will make a totally perfect Bond, at least for me.

the James Bond novels don't really continue on except for key some key characters...
the next book after Casino Royale was Live and Let Die and that has already been made.
The last novel to be made into a feature film was The Living Daylights. After that the James Bond movies were from original scripts.

But Casino Royale kinda ended like a sequel.
Btw, is the character Mr White also in other movies? I remember James(acted by Pierce Brosnan) went to ask someone who's crippled for help in GoldenEye.

EDIT: Nevermind. I checked.. he's actually Valentin Dmitrovitch Zukovsky.

Even Bond 22 is still in pre-production, so I'm not sure about the titles of the Bond films following that one.

this was one of the few movies that i saw in theatres (i have netflix), and one of the even fewer that i'd say was worth it.

I've grown tired of watching a Bond movie, but seeing Casino Royale changed my mind. Somehow, I really like Daniel Craig as 007, especially when he put his sunglasses on, he striked me as a very believable agent. It's refreshing to see they put more emphasis in action abilities than just seeing a lot of special effects which appeared too much in the past several Bond movies (starring Pierce Brosnan).

Looking forward for the next one(s).

Believe it or not, I am only going to see this movie (with friends) just to see the silver edition of the K800i that Craig uses!!!!
