Default What is the highest number of times u have watch a movie?

What is the highest number of times u have watched a (the same) movie?

I just went to the Brokeback Mountain board in imdb, and someone claimed she has watched BBM for 23 times and all of them in cinemas. I watch pretty shocked. That's a loooot of times.

    So, what's your record?

You are only talking about theater right?

5 times. Harry Potter, forgot which one. (The one with the Asian girl and Harry gets that carving on his arm.)

I went to watch with like 5 different groups of people. I think 5 days in a row. By the second time, I took long "restroom" breaks each time. I jumped to another movie and watched for a while. Sadly, by the 5th time, I already seen most parts of the movies, that there are no more to jump to.

That's insane. I wonder if any Star Wars people even watched 23 times for any of the Star Wars movie. In theaters too!!!

No, u can include the time u watch it in VCD/DVD/tv too.

That should be Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

You went into other theaters to watch other movies during "restroom break"? I've never done that. Sounds fun.

I think i watched all the prime 80s Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung movies at least like 50 times. Bruce Lee movies probably the same (except for game of death). For TVB stuff, probably seen LOCH 83 like just over 10 times. Police Cadet 84 and 85 just under 20. This stuff never gets old

Titanic - 7 times total, thrice in theaters
The ironic thing is that I still don't own a copy of the movie.

Generally, I rarely watch films more than once or twice.

I think that would be 'You got mail' for me. Its a highly watchable movie but i am assuming that watching at home on VCD counts.

In theatres, ya? Hmmm... I'm very money conscious so my record would be... 2 times...

That was for Brokeback Mountain and Fearless. Each time with different groups of friends just to follow the crowd. But frankly, I also didn't mind watching re-watching these 2 movies too.

For DVDs? Oooohh... I lost count... But the most frequently watched movies in my collection should include The Cider House Rules, Big Fish, Fight Club and Moulin Rouge and Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Yes, I had to. I am not really into Harry Potter. All my clsoe people are though I guess, cause each time I went, that's what they wanted to watch. This was the very first Harry Potter I saw in theaters too. I was lured to watch this by the "tournament" in the book.

For chinese series, there are many series I have seen over 50 times (literally no kidding.) One time, in a week, I watched Mystery of the Twin Swords II 7 times in a row. (I highly suggest no one do that. Was a 12 year old really bored during summer break.)

If you are talking about just movie, hmm, probably Rocky IV...that's maybe 25 times at max...
