During HSDS, Kunlun Sect had a member whose name was Sai Hua. At one point, Yan So So referred to him as "Taoist Sai Hua" (i.e. "Sai Hua Dao Cheung"), the same honorific title for a Taoist that Gwok Jing and others had always used during LOCH and ROCH to refer to respected Cheun Jen Sect seniors such as Ma Yuk, Yau Chui Gei, and Wong Chui 1. From what I could tell, the Kunlun Sect seemed to be secular. Leader Ho Tai Chung even had several wives, and nobody in the Kunlun Sect dressed in the kind of Taoist robes that had characterized Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung, the Cheun Jen 7 Disciples, or Cheung 3 Fung. Moreover, Kunlun Sect was so named because of its base of operations in the Kunlun Mountains far west of the Chinese central plains. In that part of Asia, religions such as Buddhism, Islam, and Zoroasterianism prevailed, not Taoism. Was the Kunlun Sect actually Taoist?
