Who's Gummo?
I think Kau Mor Tze would win since he knows the 72 (I think) Shaolin Arts, and uses it well.
"Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self."
Cyril Connolly
those names are in canto. the mandarin translation is jin lun fa wang vs jiu mo zi, personally i think jiu mo zi will win. both have very strong inner energy, probably about equal. but jiu mo zi has better techniques, huo yan dao, and xiao wu xiang gong which he can imitate other kung fus, including 72 jue ji
remember that JMZ practiced the 72 techniques of Shaolin the wrong way. A battle against someone who is about his equal; these martial arts could back fire on him.
But i think he is more powerful than The Golden Wheel monk. Kau mor
Tze is about XF level
he didnt know 72 jue ji. he used xiao wu xiang gong to imitate them and fooled everyone but sweeps and xu zhu. the one that screwed him was yi jin jing, not xiao wu xiang gong or 72 jue jiOriginally Posted by TaiHan
But why wasn't he able to learn YJJ properly when YTZ was able to learn it to some degree?
cus to learn yi jin jing u gotta have a high level of buddhist cultivation. jiu mo zi is an evil monk so his is crap. you tan zi didnt even know what the hell it was he was learning. he didnt even know its a kungfu manual. he just followed the instructions to save his own life, thats how he learnt it
Gummo Fat Wong is the hybrid form of Golden Hair Lion Lord Xie Xun and Golden Wheel Monk...

lol.....u mean Gum Lun Fat wong right? Gold wheel not hair lol GWM is a baldy.
wow..04-08....4 years just like that..time flies..
one of the monks must have travelled time and had an affair with the other, and out came Gummo, illegitimate child of the two guysOriginally Posted by Laviathan

JMZ vs GWM? IIRC, there was a thread on this in the past, with JMZ winning rather convincingly in the poll of that thread. I'll post the link later if I can find the thread.
EDIT: I couldn't find the thread. Sorry...

Christ, what a mistake. I was wondering who the XXXX Gummo was for a minute before I saw the other posts.Originally Posted by Yeung Gor
Anyway, "Gummo" will lose to JMZ. "Gummo" strikes me as a rather dull fighter, he just goes route one everytime. Not a very versatile fighter, whereas JMZ is.
As a side note. JMZ suffered from fire deviation because of trying to learn YJJ after he learnt XWXG. And its the clash of styles that brought it upon him (XWXG being taoist and YJJ being buddhist) rather than him being a crooked monk.
and that is the reason why YTZ becamse so powerful with YJJ - he had no other kungfu skills to screw it up

No, it's a misconception that Taoist and Buddhist arts cannot match. They can. But in Jiumozhi's case, the 72 arts need a certain level of enlightenment to handle the aggressive energies that would built up. Instead of learning the stuff properly, he generates the power of Xiaowuxianggong (a Taoist art that happens to not teach control of aggressiveness: please note that Quanzhen style does, but Xiaoyaopai does not) and apply that on the 72 arts. To make things worse, he also tried to train Yijinjing, which needs a very high level of enlightenment. That's when the problems start...Originally Posted by Xiao Feng

He also had the ice silk worm poison working together with YJJ as a multiplier.Originally Posted by Tazzy1972
Imagine if someone had YJJ + ice silkworm + red toad. Hmmm...poison-man?Originally Posted by CC
