Default Yi Deng = Duan Yu's great great grandson??

According to the end of DGSD, Duan Yu became the emperor of Dali. So would Yi Deng from LOCH be the heir of Duan Yu?

If yes, Duan Yu would've passed down 6MSJ, but seems like he didn't though because Yi Deng doesn't know how to use it :/

Emperor Deun Chi Hing, later 1 Deng the Monk, was said to have been Deun Yu's grandson.

ahh i wonder who's his grandmother (according to the new version of DGSD)

hmmm imo Yi Deng could've beat WCY in the hua shan peak if Duan Yu taught him 6MSJ

Perhaps. By the time of the First Mt. Hua Sword Tournament, through circumstances not revealed, the 6 Mak Divine Swords had become a lost art.

Yi Deng = Duan Zhixing, so historically: yes, Yi Deng is Duan Yu's heir; but no, Yi Deng is not Duan Yu's great great grandson. He is only the grandson.

That means as a child he should have witnessed 6MSJ and the LWBB

Did DY become a monk after - ironic if he doesn't because he was sooo into it.

Yes, he did. It is stated somewhere in the foreword or endnotes of one of JY's novels (I can't recall off-hand which novel it is, and it does not necessarily have to be in DGSD).

after duan yu learnt 6MDS, the monks only rule was reestablised. so yidang did not learn it at the first haushan tournament, through he was proven to be slighty superior to HYS and HQG and able to overcome PYF's toad stance(equal with their other skills). only WCY was superior to him. so he did not need it really at the battle, and after he learned XTSG, he was the next top fighter after WCY died. the others acknowledge it in their hearts, OYF also acknowledge he was the only one who could save HQG from the poison. the four remaining greats became more or less equal after that because of 9yin influence which yideng had the least. HYS had half of an incomplete manual to pondor for sixteen years(through he couldn't practise it).

6MDS probably still exist at LOCH time but i think yideng uses it to enhance his sword skills rather then use it as pure sword qi instead. but might be misleading from the comic. duan yu wrote down BMSG, do you really think he would neglect 6MDS. yideng may have learned it after becoming a monk(maybe not the whole sword) but since it was an invisible qi sword, i doubt anyone would have realised it was not a yiyangzhi LDA. and yideng is benovalent and refuses to kill, so he probably choses not to use it. plus since everyone learnt 9yin, their skills gap closed up so no one noticed.
