    Default Xmas songs

Yesterday I watched an interesting film: Actually Love.
The OST of the film, Christmas is all around, is so cool n romantic. If you haven't heard this song, I wanna share it with you:

Yeah, I know, that's why I feel it so funny.

the film is called Love Actually, actually.

I love "Love is all around" and the Xmas version of it is just rather...corny.

the best xmas parody song would have to be jingle bells! lol

    Jingle Bells
    Batman Smells
    Robin Laid an Egg
    The Batmobile Lost a Wheel
    And Joker got away

i love this UK version of the 2nd verse:

    Dashing through the snow,
On a pair of broken skis,
    Over the hills we go,
    Crashing into trees,
    The snow is turning red,
I think I might be dead,
All I want this Christmas is an artificial head!

sorry, Aussie version beats UK version

    Dashing through the bush
    In a rusty Holden Ute
    Kicking up the dust
    Esky in the boot
    Kelpie by my side
    Singing Christmas songs
It's summer time and I am in
    My singlet, shorts & thongs

    JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS
    JINGLE ALL THE WAY
    CHRISTMAS IN AUSTRALIA
    ON A SCORCHING SUMMER'S DAY
    JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS
    CHRISTMAS TIME IS BEAUT
OH WHAT FUN IT IS TO RIDE
    IN A RUSTY HOLDEN UTE

I recommend Phil Spector's A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR YOU...classic Christmas album that's still popular forty years after it was recorded.

If we're talking about favorite single Christmas song, mine would have to be John Lennon's "Happy X'Mas (War Is Over)," which first became popular during the Vietnam War era and is timely again in today's world.

Another good one is Bing Crosby and David Bowie's duet on "Little Drummer Boy."
