16.1%. Pretty respectable. I'm not sure whether I'll like the role they've made Shosuke play because it seems like it could be a silly drama but I'm definitely gonna watch it to find out.

The drama starts off with Kimiko falling asleep during the exchange of marriage vows in church. Later, she discovers to her horror that a wedding banquet will follow the wedding ceremony, and it will be held in Isojiro's hometown. To assure Kimiko, Isojiro tells her it will in all likelihood just involve his family since he's the second son whom no one has high expectations of but Kimiko remains apprehensive ...

When Kimiko met Isojiro's parents prior to their wedding, his mother told her upfront that the family had no wealth. Offended, Kimiko proclaims to Isojiro that his mom is her enemy and she must eat all she can to do battle as they journey to his hometown.

Kimiko discovers Isojiro lives in a huge house with a large garden and starts wondering whether her husband comes from a wealthy family but all Isojiro would say is that it's a normal house. Isojiro seems to behave differently back at his own home and Kimiko is stunned to realise the formality of the situation (notice all the formal words used in conversation) and the actual number of guests that will be present at the wedding banquet. His mother seems to feel different from the first time they met too ... and the misunderstanding starts when Shimako thinks the sushi Kimiko has brought was made by her under tutelage with the famous culinary chef Suzumoto Tokiko. She then proposes to have them distributed to the neighbours (37 houses) in what turns out to be a traditional practice for new brides. Shimako warns Kimiko that no words should be exchanged with the neighbours during their rounds because one bride who'd spoke crudely was punished, and Kimiko is alarmed. At the first house, Shimako proudly tells the neighbour that Kimiko is not only the pupil of Suzumoto, but also pupil of a famous ikebana master and traditional japanese dance master, and that Kimiko will display her ikebana skills at the wedding banquet the next night. All Kimiko can do is shake her head furiously ... It seems Isojiro was the cause of his mom misunderstanding Kimiko to be an outstanding person and thus the difference in her demeanour toward Kimiko now because she'd originally thought Kimiko to have used her charms to win Isojiro over. Kimiko valiantly tries to explain that she's just interviewed those people in her capacity as a magazine journalist but Shimako doesn't seem to hear her ... ...

Nothing seems to be going right for her ... ... awww ... ...

Oh Grifis!!!!!!!!! Crushing news.

Popular actor Tanihara Shousuke (34) gave a press conference yesterday to announce his engagement to former talento Miyake Emi (29). The couple performed together on the 2001 Fuji TV drama "Kyuumeibyoutou 24-ji", though romance for both of them lay elsewhere. Miyake was pregnant when she married actor Ishida Issei (32) in 2003, and they divorced in January 2006. She is also two months pregnant this time, so Tanihara is getting two kids as well as a wife. He was linked with Othello comedienne Nakajima Tomoko (35) in 2004, but they split the following year. He is currently appearing in two drama series, including this year's taiga on NHK, and is a presenter on the TBS Saturday morning show "O-sama no Brunch".

Looks like a shotgun marriage is in store.

She's a tarento so I don't think it'll be easy to find any pictures of her because she probably 'retired' after she married her first husband. She must have been one of the nurses in Kyuumei Byoto 24 Ji II. Sure gets pregnant easily huh?

Haha definitely not as nosebleeding as Tamaki's youtube clip.

I've stopped watching Erai Tokoro Totsuide ni Shimatta. Shosuke's little reason to watch the drama since I neither find the storyline interesting nor his character appealing. He's a guy that likes to please all sides and comes across as such a weak character and mummy's boy it's hard to stomach. Are you following it?

Any more desirable men to add to the harem since recent news dealed such crushing blows? I still can't believe the news ....

Suave indeed. I don't like long hair on him but he looks kind of good in here. I did download ep 2 of Erai but haven't watched it yet. I also don't find the story and characters interesting enough to get me going. I too dislike the mommy's boy image.

Haven't added anymore to my harem yet. No attractive candidates showed up I guess. I'm taking my sweet time until the next one coming on line.

Yeah I love those images of Shosuke. He looked great although I thought his long hair looked silly in some scenes. Thank goodness he got rid of them. I'm looking forward to the Unfair movie so I can see Eguchi Yosuke. Other than that there's little eye candy on tv now.
