China has been out of the competition.

Yao ming plays basketball and not football.
Though, imagine a 7-footer trying to head the ball (he might not even need to jump to get the ball!)

Bwahahahahahahahahaha Australia lost to Japan. This is such a great revenge for the Japs, to avenge some of their pain from the WC.

    Well Done!!!

    Yep.

Although i'm a huge Australian NT supporter, it was probably a good thing we lost. I know that a lot of Australian NT fans were over-confident and even to the point where they disrespected the Asian opponents and the confederation as a whole, thinking they'll go through and out-play every team and beat every team somewhat convincingly.

In any case Japan probably deserved to go through more than us.

In the other match Vietnam lost 2-nil to Iraq. Expected and it was great to see Vietnam go through. One must wonder though, how much of a difference Tai Em (Who was at his wedding reception btw... Talk about bad timing), Van Nhien and starting Phan Thanh Binh would've affected the final result.

There was a report on the TV a while back about a Japanese camera-man taking photos at the Socceroos' training. He had to be sent out. Not sure what to make of it, although I hope the Japanese team didn't get any advantage out of this. I can't say I was too impressed hearing about it.

China are such chockers. Why do we even pay attention to them and pay them large sum of money. To go from winning malaysia 5-1 and leading iran 2-0, to being knocked out of the comp...

So who do we have left? Japan - Saudi?
    Korea - Iraq?

Ooops looks like Iraq beat Korea. Well that country needs something to cheer about.
