Which actress has the nicest voice?

What a surprise, another poll. This one is the joint effort of NetDriftr and I... the idea is his, the clips gathered by me.

Well, we all know what they look like and beauty can be very subjective, sparking endless debate. How nice someone's voice is, is also subjective, but to a much lesser extent.

Chinese actresses rarely use their own voice- it's usually a professional dubbing voice. So what do they really sound like normally?

Those of you that understand Mandarin, try your best to focus on the quality of the voice as opposed to what they're saying. Some are talking about eyes, skin colour, wishing you a merry christmas... try to ignore the topic matter.

This polls is very simple- just pick the voice that you like best. I know some of you may suffer from bandwidth problems so the size of each 10 second clip has been reduced to between 80-100kb.

Rofl..its pretty hard to say which one is nicest because of the difference in recording etc. I know who 1,2,6,8,10 belongs to and my vote would be a toss btw 6 and 9.

2 sounds the best for most I can't tell who they are, but I can get an idea from their accent and the stuff they talk about.

meh, i personally don't like any of their voices and can see why chinese actresses all use dubbing artists. The accents alone totally throw me off about half of them.

Can't choose because recording quality is totally different.
Some voice recorded very well, but some sound include noises..unfair to judge

tsk tsk! i thought poorly of chinese acting before. now it just sunk to an all time low. Acting is about the ensemble of facial, vocal and body expressions. Voice acting is the most crucial aspect of dramatisation. it narrates the story, communicates to the audience. this isn't acting - it's aesthetic miming!!!

2 sounds whiny and weak. I think 8 sounds like a seasoned woman who is clever .Me like 8 all the way.

yea, if i had to pick i'd probably pick 9 and maybe 8, 1, 2.

it makes sense though, because i think 9 and 8 are the ones that seem to dub their own voices lately- at least that i know of.


edit: i have a feeling i'm picking this based on accent though... imagine listening to some of them with their taiwanese accents on screen...

Of the bunch, I like how #'s 9, 2 and 5 sound the most.

#3 sounds irritating, and #4 sounds like she just woke up. The other voices are either too high or too raspy imo.
