Really? I don't think i've ever heard of Jimmy and Edison looking alike until now. I guess i always think of Tae when i think of a Jimmy look-alike. But that was back in the day too since Tae looks pretty different now that he's matured.

I think that Alan Luo guy looks more like Jimmy than Edison does (I remember some people said before that alan looked like Jimmy) and of course, TAE, but lately Tae's lookin' different too.

Fang Yang De Xing Xing, the new 2007 idol series from SanLih is being filmed now. This is Li Wei Lian first working relationship with Jimmy Lin and Liu He Na. He thought that Jimmy, "his younger brother", is a warm and caring person. They feel like a family. He Na has endless energy. She is Korean and speaks Korean during filming. He can’t understand her. But when she speaks Mandarin she is sweet and lovely. Will he go back to Singapore during Chinese New Year? He said he already went home for Christmas.

The highest rating Taiwan idol series, Prince Turned to Frog, is about the romantic love story of Cinderella and a rich man. Fang Yang De Xing Xing is also the story of Cinderella. What is different is that this time Cinderella is a smart con artist. And the rich man is the 2nd generation of a jewelry corporation. In the series, Li Wei Lian plays the older brother of Jimmy Lin. His character is reserved and calm, who accepts everything unconditionally. His brother, on the other hand, is rebellious, crazy, warm-hearted, and arrogant. Li Wei Lian said, “Jimmy is a very warm person. We feel like a family.”

Li Wei Lian said, “Filming Fang Yang De Xing Xing is different from the other series he did. It is more difficult because there is no English in the script. I have to spend more time studying it. Nevertheless, I have an easy time because I will be in only 7 episodes. Lee Wei will join us after that.”

In the series, Li Wei Lian, Jimmy, and Hung Xiao Ling have a triangle love affair. HXL is Jimmy’s ex-girlfriend and also Li Wei Lian fiancée, but Li Wei Lian didn’t know about it until the very end. Li Wei Lian said, “If it is in real life, I would choose to quit. I don’t want trouble.” As for Liu He Na, Li Wei Lian said, “She is cute, has a lot of energy and never gets tired. She is Korean. I don’t understand her when she speaks Korean during filming. But when she speaks Mandarin she is very lovely and her smile is sweet.”

Thanks for the article Ladycoco!! I really enjoyed Frog Prince and hope that this series will be as good.... I just hope that it won't be a copy of Frog Prince....

Hm.. Edison looking like Jimmy? I thought they sort of did too. Tae looks more like Jimmy, but is looking kind of different recently. He sort of reminds me of Ming Dao (the lead in Frog Prince) sometimes, however, not really in terms of looks though....

I am watching Frog Prince now. Fang Yang De Xing Xing does have some parts similar to it. Rich guy goes to village. Rich guy becomes poor and falls in love with poor girl. Rich guy returns to his former life and ... Hope that this new series is different enough and won't be criticised as a copy.

I hope that this series won't be criticized a copy too. Actually, Frog Prince was criticized as being a copy of that one Korean series, but I think Frog Prince is better. It has a mixture of romance and comedy. I wonder if Jimmy's new series will?? what do you think of the cast for Frog prince?

After ch. 1, I like Joe Chen and the 2nd male lead. He is the one who likes Ming Dao's fiancee. His mother is in a coma in the hospital. I don't know his name. He is cute too. Joe Chen is very funny.

Filming is so dangerous. Hope that Jimmy will be okay next week. So they WILL go to Milan after all.

Hsu Wei Lun, (the actress who died last week in a car accident) was to be the female lead in Fang Yang De Xing Xing. After she died, the production team felt horribly. Li Wei, her ex-boyfriend, is being attacked but he will join the production after Chinese New Year.

Jimmy Lin will be in the entire series. Li Wei Lian will appear in the first half and Li Wei in the last half. Li Wei’s part hasn’t started filming. The production will go to Milan for filming after Chinese New Year.

Next week, Jimmy will film a car racing scene. The location has no rail guards and Jimmy and another driver will chase each other at high speed. It will be very dangerous. Jimmy will also be the racing director himself. Since this is after Hsu Wei Lun’s auto accident, the production has increased the accidental insurance to TWD 20M. They will also give everyone a day off after a shoot on location.
