Relive, what files are these. I can't download them. Only part2 has a download link to click. I try to extract the file in part 2 and it says you have to start with part 1. But I can't download part 1.

Those files were from the activity at K Mall.
I haven't watched them yet, so huge files.

Ducking from flying objects. I like ISWAK too. It's so cute. But I don't want to watch another series with a cool guy and a dumb girl. If I have to choose between ISWAK 2 and My Lucky Star, I will definitely choose the latter. It's all about the plot. Don't they get it!

Ever since I started this modern TW and K-drama phase, I've noticed the following re-occurring motifs.. you guys notice too?:

-memory loss... the ratio of people who have amnesia in dramas and the ratio of people who actually get amnesia in the real world is very disproportionate. haha
-good-lookin' guy whose dad owns a big company or school
-usually the company has an english name (panda, senwell, e. shine for example)
-usually some sort of love triangle
-always has hospital scenes. someone is hurt or has cancer or someone faints
-girl has a tragic flaw (she's poor, she steals, she's kinda clumsy, she's loud, etc)
-the couple is usually from different worlds (rich-poor, smart-stupid, popular-unpopular, etc)

haha, yea, I just finished Prince who turns into frog, that's why I had memory loss on my mind.. but yes, it's definitely more for k-dramas, but in dramas in general, memory loss is a motif for sure. and hospital scenes!

My Lucky Star, ep 1.

Xia Zhi Xing (Yoo Ha Na) is a simple country girl growing up in a small poor village, Tomorrow Village. She is gifted with the skills of jewelry counterfeiting. With the coercion from her boyfriend Zhao Shi San they live a life of swindling. She was caught on her last job before she was going to give up her life of crime to marry her boyfriend. Because of the act of a stranger (presumably Jimmy’s character) she lost her happiness and changed her life.

A year ago, Zhong Tian Qi (Jimmy Lin) signed a contract as a F1 racer. He finally realized his dream of gaining independence from his glamorous family. He asked his girlfriend Ou Ya Ruo to marry him and leave with him for Italy. She turned him down and told him that she has found someone better. She said that he is like blowing wind with no direction. He asked her who could be richer and better than him. He told her not to regret it. Tian Qi left the café and strolled down the road. Meanwhile Ah Xing and Shi San were caught and fled from the scene. Ah Xing ran into Tian Qi. He was holding one of the diamond earrings that he was going to give Ya Ruo. She knocked the earring down and he thought that she stole it. He grabbed her and wouldn’t let go. The cops caught up with her and took her in. She was mad at Tian Qi.

A year later, Ah Xian was discharged from prison on probation. She made up a story about her uncle dying. Tian Qi has been missing for more than a year. He got into a fight with a French racer and was taken into custody by the French police. Tian Qi’s brother Tian Juan sent Old K and 2 men to Paris to bring Tian Qi back to Taiwan for Tian Juan’s engagement party. Afraid that he would flee Old K put handcuffs on Tian Qi. With the help of a Frenchman Tian Qi was able to flee from Old K. He told the guy that Old K was the mafia kidnapping him. He hid in the ladies’ restroom. Meanwhile, Ah Xing went to the airport to retrieve the money she left in a locker. She wanted to buy a gift for her boyfriend. Tian Qi ran into Ah Xing in the restroom. He forced her into a stall to keep her quiet. She recognized him as the jerk who helped the cops a year ago. She also overheard that he was in handcuffs and thought that he was a fugitive being extradited back to Taiwan by the cops. She called for help and gave his position away. Tian Qi had no choice but go to the hotel where the engagement party was. Old K told him that it was his brother who wanted him back. Tian Qi said “If you guys want me home then don’t regret. I want to see how grand the party is.” He asked Old K for the car key and drove to the hotel at high speed.

E. Shine Corp. was in financial turmoil. Tian Qi’s father had to auction the diamond Queen Mary for immediate cash. The other board members were eager to see him fail so they could take over.

In the hotel Tian Qi got into a confrontation with his father. His father was mad that he got into a fight in Paris and landed on the front page of international news. Tian Qi retorted that his fight was nothing compared to the many evil deeds his father did. His father had an affair and his mother committed suicide. The other guests laughed at them behind their backs. Old K reported that the diamond Queen Mary had been brought in under guard to the hotel. Tian Qi was surprised and mad that his mother heirloom was to be auctioned off. Tian Juan asked Tian Qi to give him his blessing. Tian Qi said, “Give me 15 minutes and I will decide whether I will give you my blessing.” He went into Ya Ruo’s room and kissed her. He stole the Queen Mary and fled from the hotel. Security ran after him. He ran into Ah Xing and dropped the diamond. Ah Xing picked it up and security mistook her as the accomplice and handcuffed her. Tian Qi came back for the diamond and Ah Xing put the other side of the handcuff on him thinking that he was the thief. Tian Qi dragged Ah Xing along. They stole Old K’s car and fled. Then there was this big car chase scene.

Ah Xing called Shi San who hung up on her. She found a gun in the car and forced Tian Qi to drive her to her old apt. The landlady told her that Shi San moved away with his pregnant wife. She showed her the wedding invitation. Ah Xing treasured the plastic stars that Shi San gave her. Tian Qi was touched that Ah Xing treasured the cheap plastic stars while his ex-gf left him for diamonds. The landlady told Ah Xing that she was stupid to go to jail for a guy. No men would marry a girl with a criminal record. Tian Qi came to her defense and took her out of the apt. Tian Qi mocked her and said that Shi San’s love was worth only $10 stars. She retorted that her plastic stars were worth more than diamonds. He bandaged her hand and said, “Why do you make a mess of yourself for someone who no longer loves you. Why do you do stupid things?” (He was talking about himself.) She said, “When I find them I will cut off the tendons in his hands and legs and I will cut up her face.”

They found Shi San and his wife Ming Mei. Ming Mei fell and went into labor. Tian Qi drove them to the hosp. The hosp ran out of type B blood and Ah Xing donated her blood. Tian Qi was shocked. While they were waiting Tian Qi told An Xing that she is like a blowing wind then he remembered that his ex-gf said the same thing to him. Ah Xing said, “I imagined many time how the reunion with Shi San will be. I imagined how happy he would be. He would marry me immediately. I shouldn’t have gone to see him like that. If anything should happen to Ming Mei or the baby it is my fault.” Tian Qi tried to comfort her and she was thankful. He joked that he was just comforting a pet of his. She was mad and said “I don’t need your comfort. I am an iron Xing Xing.”

Ming Mei asked Ah Xing to be the baby’s godmother. Shi San knelt down and apologized to Ah Xing. Ah Xing instead told him that Tian Qi was her art instructor in jail and became her boyfriend. They didn’t want to be separated so they cuffed each other together. It was she who betrayed Shi San. She got Tian Qi to play along. She asked him to give them $2000 as a wedding gift. Shi San started to tell Tian Qi about the happy times he and Ah Xing had and asked him to take care of her and not to leave her. She turned around and cried. Tian Qi saw her face and was moved. Tian Qi said, “Don’t worry. She is the love of my life. Don’t think of my gf because I will get jealous.”

They left the hosp and Tian Qi said, “Wipe off your tears. You acted very well.” She cried in the park when they were alone, and he comforted her. “I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world. Now I have nothing. You can go now.” She unlocked the cuffs and let Tian Qi go. She said, “Nothing matters now.”

k-drama means korean dramas. hehe, you should try watching them if you haven't before.. they're quite saps tho. but Liu He Ha looks like a good mix of Song Hye Kyo and Kim Tae Hee in my opinion.

Taiwanese ratings r different from HK. In HK ratings are for the whole week while ratings in TW are counted each day. In my opinion, CTS should make a BIG PARTY to celebrate if ratings for their drama are over 2.0 (drama of SHE in 2005 only hit 1.7 as the highest). However, SETTV's drama are always between 3.0 - 4.0. There are the ratings of their previous series (of ep 1)
(2005) Mr Fighting : 3.43
Prince turns frog : 3.92
Green Forest my Home : 2.91
(2006) Magicians of love : 4.17
Smile Pasta : it was an unforgettable day in my life when i got up on Monday and someone told me the ratings were 5.37 which set a new record for idol drama
Engagement for love: this series has the lowest ratings since i started watching SETTV's drama : 1.67

To my view, if the ratings are
3.0 - 4.0 : good
4.0 - 5.0 : very good
> 5.0 : excellent

I only watched 1 korean drama before, the jewel in the palace. It was so looooog. I couldn't make it to the end and gave up after halfway. It's still sitting in the house somewhere. I could only stand so much korean food.

Tian Qi and Ah Xing got drunk at a bar. Tian Qi carried the drunken Ah Xing to a motel. He was going to take the Queen Mary home as his blessing for Tian Juan and Ya Ruo. The manager of the motel thought that Tian Qi was a rapist and called the cops. Ah Xing was drunk and he couldn’t talk his way out of it. They were brought back to the station and Tian Qi lamented that his luck was so bad that he was cuffed 3 times in one day.

Tian Qi’s father’s health deteriorated from the stress and anxiety of losing the Queen Mary. Tian Juan had to hold a press conference to calm things down. He was surprised to hear from a reporter that Tian Qi and Ya Ruo were ex-gf-bf and that Tian Qi stole the diamond to avenge Ya Ruo and to disrupt the engagement party. He was speechless staring at the photos of Tian Qi kissing Ya Ruo. The police called and told them that Tian Qi had been arrested as a rape suspect…

Tian Juan and Ya Ruo went to the station to pick up Tian Qi. Ya Ruo saw the intimacy between Tian Qi and Ah Xing and became jealous. She mocked Tian Qi. Ah Xing didn’t like Ya Ruo’s attitude and stole one of the diamonds on the Queen Mary when Tian Qi was returning it…

After Tian Qi returned the Queen Mary he thought he had put behind Ya Ruo and his relationship with his family. He was intrigued by the ten thousand possibilities that Ah Xing talked about and left with her to her village.

Once Tian Qi stepped into Tomorrow Village he knew something was wrong. They didn’t know that Shi San used Ah Xing’s name to swindle the villagers. The angry villagers forced them to sign a loan contract. Ah Xing’s uncle cheated on the gambling table and infuriated Fat Ge, the baddest scoundrel in town. Tian Qi came to Ah Xing’s defense…
