In the novels, Divine Condor could not fly. I have not reached this part in the novel yet. Could anyone tell me why Divine Condor could not fly? Also, which chapter would I be able to find this in?

Actually that big bird is really a Dodo bird. JY didn't have the Chinese name for it.

i dont think jy mentioned why it could not fly but if there is a mention, it should be around where YG make a remark to GX regarding the bird.... Condor is a majestic bird but in the novel, it was described as a big bird and the series portrayed the condor simply out of size.... personally i dont think there is such a large bird in wuxia era but if a prehistoric time, then perhaps....

slightly off topic, but do you readers find it that chinese wuxia used condor and eagle, while in the western medieval novel, they used raven and hawk!
