As a moderate feminist, I don't like women posing nude for strangers (unless it adds significance to a film, which is rarely) and being used to satisfy sexual urges for men who cannot find enough satisfication in their own partners. I've only watched four of the actresses (Ady An, Alyssa Jia, Ruby Lin, and Ariel Lin), but my favourite out of these - based purely on her performance in 'E Zuo Ju Zhi Wen' (aka 'ISWAK') - is Ariel.

Ady and Alyssa are the two most popular on the poll, but I'm not a big fan of their acting performances. In everything I've seen them in, they act like a child whether or not they're acting as a child - that exaggerated, cartoony, cutesy way, which seems to be the standard across the industry. (Even Ariel did it in 'Tian Wai Fei Xian'.) I suspect this is probably just as much the fault of incompetent directing and the abomination that is dubbing as it is their own fault, but I reckon they could do better.

I like the way Ady looks, and she had some promising moments in 'Xian Jian', but for most of 'Xian Jian' (and in what I've seen of 'Han Wu Da Di 2') she was rather cartoony. She still has time to improve, though, so I hope she gets her chance with a decent role and a decent director. As for Alyssa, she has charm and charisma, but given that she was already quite advanced into her career when she starred in 'Yi Tian Tu Long Ji' and 'Shen Yi Xia Lu', she really ought to have done better than she did.

I thought Ruby would be popular too...her thread is long enough. But the Ruby fans seem to have disappeared as of late. I disagree that Ady and Alyssa aren't talented in the acting department. Alyssa is rather cute by nature, and I have to agree she's a tad cartoonish/childish. On the other hand, I feel that Ady has shown her versatility as an actress. I don't think she's limited herself to cute roles (her management company, unfortunately, has limited her to second leads).

As for Ariel, I liked her in ISWAK, but I feel she's mostly cuteness too, especially with her baby fat. Her voice is mature though and not as cute/bubbly as I expected from her looks.
